Spent two nights here Memorial Day weekend in the cold and pouring rain. The pub made for a nice escape out of my camper; Vicky makes a GREAT cocktail! Staff are friendly and helpful, and sites are generously sized and well maintained. The setting is gorgeous. This place is a bit out of my way, but I would definitely return.

We have always loved Maine, hadn't made this far north but boy was it worth it! Shin Pond staff and patrons are like nothing else. We were looking to buy near Ellswoth but not anymore. I came here to stay in the village and rent snowmobiles with two friends. We had the best time. Days were great and it was nice to have a pub to go to at night close by to have a few beers.
