I visited this site last November, so things may or may not have changed since then. The atmosphere of the place is somewhat pleasant, with a scenic view if you're seated in the middle dining area. However, the food was mediocre at best, and the prices did not reflect its quality. I tried the popovers, which were recommended as Maine's staple dish, but I couldn't have been less excited. The J1 students working at the front during our visit were extremely rude and standoffish, although I do remember our server being friendly.

This is a must do if you are visiting Acadia! Make sure to book a reservation preferably for the outdoor seating on a good summer day way in advance. The prices and portions aren't the best however part of the price comes with the amazing view of Acadia and Jordan Pond. The food is phenomenal though and the popovers are a classic! I got the lobster bisque which I cannot complain the taste was really good and there was a moderate amount of lobster. The service was also 10/10 they were very friendly and kind to our family. Overall the Jordan Pond House is a great time for a good meal and enjoy a long hike before or after your meal around the Jordan Pond!

Not good! Over priced and overrated. Do the hike around Jordon's pond but skip the restaurant!

This cabin is nestled into the National Park overlooking Jordan Pond and the famous 'bubbles'. It is one of the best views from a restaurant I've ever been to. Food. I was recommended this place when coming to Acadia so we naturally did the popovers. They're fresh, hot, and airy with not a lot of substance, make sure to order more food for the rest of your hike-heavy day. The lobster popover was delicious, though $50. Generous portions and extra butter. The pot pies were beautiful too! Chai was flavorful and milky, while the blueberry lemonade was very tart. Overall it's a pricy place with a beautiful view and long wait but it's one of those places that everyone inevitably goes to, so might as well enjoy it!

Waited over an hour even though we had a reservation. Definitely taking advantage of their situation.

Excellent food, the only place that I have ever seen that serves popovers. We had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get in. The club sandwich was excellent. We sat by a fire place, much to my wife's delight.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating.

I was extremely hyped for this restaurant because of how many people recommended it and was sorely disappointed with everything. The service wasn't good. My partner found plastic in her drink and all the server did was substitute another one and still charged her. They had a half menu and what we ordered had hair in it. The popovers were just okay. Overall was really sad with my experience there. The vibe in there was incredibly weird too. Idk how to explain it. Also the bathrooms were disgusting. It would take a lot for me to eat here again.

This place is the only restaurant in the park. I would strongly recommend going to Downeast Deli in Bar Harbor - picking up sandwiches (they take approximately 30 seconds) and skipping this restaurant. The wait, even with a reservation is ridiculous. The service is mediocre. The worst part - they have this dumb Tea Time Menu in the middle of the day (I just tried to find the hours online and had extreme difficulty). Multiple tables around us were very upset they had to order off this limited menu (instead of the lunch menu). When people are hiking/exploring the park all day, meal times aren't normal. It just seems ridiculous to not offer more options. The view outside is gorgeous. The parking is awful. The prices are outrageously expensive compared to in town.

Get there early so you can get a seat at the restaurant. Popovers were good. I had the bison meatloaf sandwich and it was so crunchy and charred in a good way, I'd have it again (and again). If you have to wait to be seated there's a nice patio to enjoy the view of Jordan Pond. There's also a take out to get quick snacks while you wait. Blueberry lemonade is pretty good there

Jordan Pond House beheld a beauty that is unmatched and exceeded my expectations. The poppers and jam were so delightful and tasty. I reminisce the flavors scenery and culinary breakfast experience! I want to revisit again some day

We didn't have a reservation so we decided to stop by and get their blueberry lemonade and blueberry soda. The blueberry lemonade was tangy and subtly sweet which I really liked.

Delicious popovers and multiple vegetarian options including a few vegan options. Outdoor seating atmosphere is beautiful. Definitely recommend making reservations online (they open one month in advance) and hiking or taking the Island Explorer to Jordan Pond to avoid parking issues.
