Flying Pond Variety is a local, family-oriented market worth a trip. It is great for getting something quick without going into Augusta. The establishment has everything needed, including food, house, and garden items. The pizza is described as the best, and the food is good, though a little pricey. Service is great and very pleasant, with nice employees and very pleasant experiences with all the staff. The owners provide service if possible during inclement weather. Many customers go out of their way to visit regularly, with some coming every day.
The staff is terrific. They are friendly and helpful. It is a convenience store so the prices won’t compete with a big box store. But they have a surprising inventory of food, drinks and hardware Too. It’s like an old time country store. You almost always run into someone you know.

Not only do they have a kinda everything you’ve ever need but they also have FIRE pizza!! Dough is thicker than NY but not Detroit style and best of all cupping pepperoni 🍕 My family loves this place for hardware and random things but will now be getting pizza here always
