“This is a wonderful post office – Pam, who runs the office is efficient, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We receive hundreds of packages each year and they are either put in our mail box if small or left inside our barn if too large – but never out in the rain (as sometimes happens with other delivery services). I am sorry that others have not had good experiences; I am hoping that was during the time that Pam was out on sick leave.”

“My partner has been eagerly waiting for a package to arrive. We received a notification that the package had been delivered but it was not at our mailbox or in the general area. I managed to catch the gentleman delivering the mail and asked him if he could help me locate the package as I had received the notification indicating it had been delivered. This gentleman stood outside in the blazing sun on the phone with another representative with the post office to help retrace his steps and determine where it was delivered. He quickly figured out that it had been delivered to the neighbors by accident and fetched it right away. This gentleman could’ve chosen not to help me, but he went out of his way and I am incredibly grateful for that. Keep in mind when your reading reviews, most people wont take the time to leave a review if all went well. However, people will take the time to write a scathing review when they have had a bad experience. So far my experience with Lewiston’s Post Office has been nothing short of excellent. Thank you to the men and women at the post office who serve our community, rain or shine!”
“I called the post office on Friday about an Express package that I sent to my daughter. For some reason it was not left at her door but the man that I spoke to over the phone was incredibly polite and helpful. He said he would contact the carrier to resolve the problem and the parcel was left at her door the following day. Many thanks from a grateful mom.”
