Newport postal delivery lady is absolutely horrible she only delivers when and what she wants and if u say something your mail starts to disappear kinda sad some one can be so petty every other Carrie have been fantastic not sure why they brought her back I will do all my business through ups so much nicer to deal with

My carrier on the Newport Maine rt dosent like to deliver package or my mail gor that matter so had to complain 4 time still not get mail or package because she asked me to move mailbox and I did and now she's saying its to high even thoe I spoke with postmaster delivery person dose what she wants. Kinda petty but on her part I have bad heart issue and can't drive but yet have to go to postoffice everyday for package now mail sad sad people

Pretty sad they are allowed to break items by shoving packages into a mailbox and they only deliver the packages they feel like, leaving many on the ground outside the door but not delivering others if they feel they don't want to. No reason to make 3 excuses for one package delivery!
First i got a text stating that USPS tried to deliver at 7:30am, which they did not, and stated the mailbox was full. When I called to find out they said that it wouldnt fit in the box so they couldn't deliver and there were no instructions to leave it outside. The issue being they have delivered over two dozen packages that dont fit and they drop them at the front door. Then they dropped off a slip stating they attempted to deliver but I wasn't home (I watched from the window as the usps truck delivered regular mail).. So, when I got to the local office I was told it couldn't be delivered cuz the mail carrier just got back from illness.. YET yesterday there was no issue delivering packages and breaking them when they shoved them into my mailbox, oh and left one outside my front door as it didn't fit (no it did not have instructions to leave outside).

I had an urgent package that needed to be sent out, I received an email with the label to return through an email but I don't have a printer at home to print it. I've never gone into a USPS where they weren't able to print out the label so I could send it. They told me I needed a QR code which was not provided to me. I ended up having to go to the library to print it out and back to USPS before it closed with a toddler to do all of this. Horrible service, do better.

Had to open a post office box recently. The associate was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and was extremely courteous. So pleased we chose this location for our post office box to be located and appreciated the wonderful service we received. Thank you

Unprofessional and all they do is gossip and take pictures out the window of the post office instead of doing their job. Gossip on the job about things that don’t affect them at all. Claiming that they have to look at they don’t have to do anything. Being nosey is a choice. Picking on people that have dying family to many other people in the community instead of doing their job. They deleted my last post so here is another one.

I really like the people who work in this post office, and they have been very helpful and nice. I have two problems, though. One, this office is NOT handicap accessible if you are a wheelchair user or a walker user. **edit: they just filled the break in the ramp**The ‘ramp’ has a huge break it in, and the door on the side of the ramp doesn’t even open all the way so you couldn’t get inside anyway. Also, one of the people delivering the mail has delivered a lot of soaked, DESTROYED mail from carrying it out of the bag in the rain throughout the entire neighborhood.
