Really disappointed with how ourexperience went. Older couple getting a loan for new roof and consolidate bills.Asked 10 times what payment would be a month and that we wanted it to be fixed. Was told to ask at closing? Closing came paper work all done we signed not fixed. Our fault I guess should of had 1 of our children with us to make sure all ok. Just really disappointed with whole process.

Very frustrated with the service I’ve received so far. On day one I called to get a situation resolved with the service center. They told me to expect a call back. Never received. About a week later I received a call from a service center manager to apologize, and that was greatly appreciated. With that being said - after a week of waiting for my debit card to arrive, the phone activation service is unavailable. I then drove to the ATM hoping it would allow me to activate the card there, and the ATM reads “currently unavailable”. It is so disappointing to put confidence into a local bank, and be disappointed at every turn.

I have been a signer on a non profit account for about 5 years with this bank. My experiences in the branches have been okay, but the support has been so awful. I switched the accounts to Bangor Savings because they are so easy to deal with. Since the bulk of our cash was moved to BSB, there was no reason for me to actively log into Norway internet banking, and after a few months they deactivated the account without notifying me. For the past couple weeks I have been in the process of trying to close the accounts. I was unable to do anything over the phone and it was requested that I physically mail a letter to them (since I am out of town for work) to make this request. I did, but never heard back. The next easiest thing I thought would be to get back into internet banking. I went through the online setup and entered my SSN where it said "Social Sec Number", not realizing that this is either SSN or EIN if you have a business account. I was on hold for about 45 minutes this morning listening to the automated line talk about how great it is have business accounts with Norway. This has not been my experience with them. Their website is sloppy, their communication with clients is bad, and their secure chat left me as "Number1 in line" for over an hour... Never doing business with these guys again.

I have to make a change to a previous post. Norway came trough to fix my issue and worked outside of policy to do so. It was a good move which proved that they are responsive on an individual level. Kudos for your agility and local accountability. An organization is tested by adversity and is given an opportunity to be defined by it's response to a problem rather than the problem it's self. Norway passed the test in my case and gets my endorsement as a contientious organization.
