What more can I say, we made last-minute reservations after the office closed. We called the phone number and they were very accommodative. We did feel bad that the person had to come back into the office but he was very nice. Jerome was beautiful and it was very clean the mattress was very comfortable. It's got a cute little indoor pool and a hot tub on premise. You can walk pretty much to anything you need. We were there for 3 days and didn't have to move the car at all. The beach is about 4/10 of a mile away. There's a small hill to go down and then back up on the return trip. The pastries and coffee in the morning were a favorite of ours.
Rooms: Very clean and well equipped.
Safety: We felt very safe here.
Walkability: Walk to anything.

We have stayed at the Abalonia three times and just love everything about this place. It seems to be family owned and we love supporting the family businesses in Ogunquit. Jesse is helpful, personable, and kind. The morning pastry is delicious and available all day if you need a snack later. The location is perfect and right in the middle of town The pool and hot tub are clean and relaxing. I enjoyed the best water aerobic workout in there. We left feeling rested and happy
Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well maintained
Walkability: Everything is a walk away

The location is great. Cathy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Jesse the owner is a great host. the rooms were nice for an old style inn. The muffins and coffee they have in the morning were good. The staff and the owner make the stay exceptional. Great location and rooms. Love this place. I definitely recommend. Will definitely stay here when we go to Qgunquit ME.

Nearby activities: Close to all
Walkability: Excellent location. Walkable to all of town, restaurants beach and Perkins cove
Noteworthy details: Host and staff are the best. Loved the outdoor Iin ground hot tub and the outdoor fireplace.

Lovely Inn in the heart of Ogunquit Maine. Rooms are on the small side, but very clean and well maintained. Jesse and his team are wonderful hosts and the location is perfect - walking distance to most of Ogunquit!

Pleasant stay. Great location. Good service. Historic building with several terrace areas and outdoor areas for relaxing. Muffins and coffee every morning. Beautiful swimming pool and spa.
Mattresses and pillows unfortunately very soft and uncomfortable. We left our 4 night stay with significant back pain.
The rooms are uneven. Some need some renovation and are still carpeted. The shower floor in one of the rooms was soft and smelled of mold, considering water infiltration. The staff changed rooms for us without any problem when we told them.
We were forced to book via Expedia, as it was impossible to do so directly via the hotel website. It was with great disappointment that we noticed, once we got to the hotel, that we had paid double the price for our stay and that unfortunately the quality of the rooms did not match these prices.
We enjoyed our stay, and still recommend the place.

Our stay here was fantastic. The rooms have modern amenities (like water pressure and wifi) but with that historic charm. The service is personal. The daily muffins are beyond. The location cannot be beat. Easy parking and quick walk to the beach or all of downtown. The saltwater pool was a nice respite from the ocean and the sun. There is seating all over the property, so you can find sun or shade no matter the time of day. The Abalonia Inn was exactly what I wanted in my Ogunquit visit and I want to give them 100 stars out of 5.

The room we had was a perfect size! The cleanliness was next level! I normally have extreme allergies, but they were non exsistent while staying at this beautiful inn!

Remote-feeling yet just off the Ogunquit village square. Staff is friendly and ready to help, and local baked goods and coffee in the morning are a very nice touch. We would stay here again!

We loved this Inn! The family who owns it is very friendly and efficient. And Keegan was very helpful, too! They have left no stone unturned, even providing delicious, local bakery treats twice a day. The room was perfect and a good size. There was a substantial deck outside of our room, which we enjoyed. The location is excellent and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Quaint and charming New England inn. Jesse, the owner, and his staff were friendly & personable. The rooms are small and rustic. While you won't get the services offered at a full-service hotel (no restaurant, bar, or fitness center, e.g.), the small inn charm and location more than compensate for the absence of some large hotel amenities, and the room prices are much more reasonable than at a larger hotel. We will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a laid- back, relaxing experience.Walkability: Center of downtown Ogunquit within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and a brewery.

We booked our room last minute, and couldn’t be happier with how we lucked out with such a great stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the private deck was very nice as well. There are several areas to relax and enjoy the weather, and it was surprisingly quiet for how close it was to all the shops and restaurants - also a nice quick walk to the beach.A highlight of our stay was the fire pit and the great conversations with other guests and the owner, Jesse. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back!

The location was perfect with a 45 second (that’s no exaggeration) walk to shops and restaurants in Ogunquit. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts were SUPERB!! When asked by locals where we were staying they all said it was pretty much the best choice in the area and I agree. I’m very glad we were able to stay there and will stay there again!!Safety: Sooooo safe! Left the keys to the car IN the car. All night. Oooops! Obviously was not a problem. Wow! Couldn’t make that mistake at home and still have a car waiting for me. So impressed with this whole area.Walkability: If you want to walk into town, you couldn’t really be closer.

Overall good experience- would give it 3.5 stars if i could. I am very happy they had availability last minute. Bear in mind, it's not a luxury stay, and it reminded me of being at camp.Pros:LocationCharmFirepitPool /hot tubFriendly staffMorning coffee and pastriesCons- Bathroom was painfully small with no shelves or storage whatsoever- Window ac had to be on constantly and is very loud- Sheets didn't fit the bed very well, and kept coming off- Pillows were flat, we could have used about 10 more- Only once nightstand due to layout, perhaps a wall shelf would be better than nothing?-Pool needed more regular skimming during our stay
