Beaconlight was our home base for our Ogunquit elopement and what an incredible spot! Marsha was beyond sweet and accommodating. The home was designed beautifully and impeccably clean. Location was ideal - easy to walk to both Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and downtown. We will be back! <3

Wow, what a gem! Ogunquit has long been our favorite spot but this was the first time we stayed at Beacon Light Guest House. Wonderful location with a short walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, downtown shops & restaurants. The beach is walk-able but if you have a lot to carry, just call the Beach Caddie (golf cart cab -Stacey!). The house itself is charming and cozy and our room was quite comfortable. It's obvious there is great attention to the cleaning and upkeep of this property. The real standout from other places we've stayed in the area was the exceptional hospitality. Marsha is a treasure! She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. It was a pleasure meeting Robert, the owner, as we were leaving. No doubt we will be back next year!

We had a great experience at Beaconlight. The room and B&B were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. They made us feel very welcome, and we are already thinking about booking our next trip back. The location is very close, as in around the corner, from a great restaurant and very close to Perkin's cove. The southern entrance to the Marginal Way is at the cove, which is a great community asset to walk along the seacoast, hang out for a while, and watch the waves crash over the rocks. Downtown is very walkable from the B&B, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

We spent a glorious week in Ogunquit at the Beaconlight guest house. Robert and Marsha, our hosts, created a welcoming and comfortable environment making us feel immediately at home. Their location, just around the corner to Perkins Cove and the beginning of the Marginal Way, allowed us to park the car for the majority of our stay, as they are also an easy 1/2 mile to the main village district and Ogunquit Beach. We enjoyed an ever changing variety of fresh fruit and pastries every morning, eating them out on the back porch, as well as coffee, water, and snacks throughout the day. All of the rooms are nicely decorated with private baths and TVs. We were able to walk to a variety of different restaurants or get freshly made salads, chowder, or sandwiches at the Village Market (strongly recommend) and bring it back to the guesthouse with a bottle of wine to enjoy in a more private setting. Marsha always left out plates and silverware each night for the guests, including wine glasses. It felt like visiting friends.

Robert and Marsha were the greatest hosts ever. From our late arrival, after many delayed flights to making sure we had every thing we needed to be comfortable every day of our trip, this place is AWESOME.A fire was burning when we arrived, the candy dishes were stocked full, and there were snacks galore. We stayed in room #6 with a very comfortable king size bed. The linens were plush and the pillows were perfect. I tend to need a fan at night and they were so accommodating in all regards. Blueberries and coffee cake for breakfast was a wonderful start to the morning. Their are so many beautiful touches to this bed and breakfast. One of my favorite spaces was the outdoor patio. It was filled with so many gorgeous flowers. The rain seemed to only make everything more magical. Will stay here again, hopefully sooner than later. I highly recommend this spot. It's only a 3-5 minute walk to Perkins Cove, definitely go there.

I can't say enough good things about our weekend stay at the Beacon Light. Our hosts were warm, friendly, and completely welcoming. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The breakfasts were bountiful and delicious, and there were snacks and drinks everywhere around the clock. The rooms were quiet, very private, and the beds were as comfortable as clouds. We had a wonderful time, thanks to our wonderful hosts. It was hard to leave. We will definitely stay there again.

My absolute favorite bed and breakfast I’ve experienced in New England. Marsha and Robert are a true delight! We arrived well after midnight on our check in day due to flight changes, and both Robert and Marsha were awake and waiting, ready to greet their weary late night travelers. After a quick tour, it was off to bed, only to be greeted by a gorgeous (and recently renovated) bedroom and private bath. (So nice, in fact, that family members almost cancelled their reservations at a nearby hotel). We were here for a wedding and became known as the “Party Couple” since we were flirting about, to and from receptions and the ceremony, and Robert and Marsha were more than accommodating at every opportunity.Plus, the house is less than a half mile from downtown (one direction) and Perkins Cove (the other direction). Takes literally minutes to walk to 3+ restaurants for Lobster Rolls (our favorite was Barnacle Billy’s but Robert recommends Footbridge). When we left, we had a late flight and had experienced trouble getting Lyft and Uber in the area. Robert personally volunteered to drive us to Portland, ME for our flight so that we didn’t miss our travel plans.I cannot rave enough about this gem in Ogunguit. Honestly, I thought about NOT reviewing it in an attempt to keep this gem hidden, but our hosts and stay were just too positive not to share. If you end up booking, tell them the party couple from Colorado sent ya!

Staying here was such a great experience. From the time we stepped foot in the door, Marsha, Rob and Mark were so accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. The place is extremely clean and the rooms are very cozy. Would highly recommend ? ? ? ? ?

Last weekend, my partner, his grandmother and I all stayed at this sweet little inn situated perfectly between Perkins Cove and the main town areas with shops and restaurants. The inn was very comfortable and cozy, with lovely morning sunlight in me and my partner's room on the second floor. His grandmother was in a room on the first floor, with easy access to the kitchen and cutely decorated common areas. The rooms were very clean and each had their own private bathrooms. The inn owners were lovely, very accommodating and welcoming. They were almost always in the office, so we could access them if we needed to (our stay seemed thoughtfully laid out so we didn't end up needing help with anything). I felt very at home there. Also, I definitely recommend the continental breakfast they serve - the coffee cake and cider donuts we tried were delicious! Definitely recommend.

Robert and Marsha were excellent hosts and we had the best experience staying in their B&B. Their kindness made us feel like family. They went the extra mile providing beach towels, snacks and an overall lovely and cozy place to stay. Thank you again for helping to make out first trip to a Maine so wonderful! We are definitely going to recommend this place to family and friends for future trips! -Amy and Mike from Chicago

Bed & breakfast charm at it's finest, and the perfect location for quality time at the coast. The Beaconlight team was delightful and accommodating during our weekend getaway, just wish we could have stayed longer!
