The beds were ok but the bathroom and upkeep was not great. The staff was very good and did their best to help.

My friend and I really loved this hotel, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Prices were reasonable. Easy access to everything, perfect for our short beach trip. We will definitely book here again and recommend to friends and family. A special mention to Sabrina who really came through for us when our plans changed last minute. She went out of her way so that my friend and I were happy and we really appreciated her. Dealing with employees like Sabrina when something unplanned comes up is just a rare thing these days. Love this place. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. We had a last minute change of plans and Sabrina saved us by working her magic to let us keep our room for a second night. Thank you Sabrina, you are the best!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. Room 401 was quite nice and had plenty of space. There was a microwave and fridge which was super useful during our stay.
The rooms are amazingly clean which I appreciate.
The staff is also super friendly. I heard multiple staff singing on numerous occasions which was endearing.
It's a cold breakfast. Nothing special. It suffices but don't expect anything fancy.
The pool is on the smaller side but it works and it's clean.
It was a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and polite. The room was beautiful and quiet - even with people in the rooms on each side of us. The vast lawn with Adirondack chairs makes it seem peaceful, even though it is on a busy street. There is a pool, but others told us the water was cold (a young boy was having a blast, though - but he did it was cold, too. Continental breakfast was cold (toaster for toast and bagels and hot water provided for instant oatmeal) but selection was fine and all was fresh. The only negative to me was having to haul my luggge up the front steps and then up to the second floor, but even with that I’d stay there again.

Family experience, couple with 2 kids. Rating for room/service is based on value for money (300$ for 2 nights tax included, can't beat that). As others have said, rooms are a bit dated. But functional and clean. Beds are comfy. Pool and breakfast are great. Walking distance to the beach.

Stayed at this hotel our first night on Tuesday . We thought it was just fine and returned for Thursday night. The room we were put in was completely substandard and felt as if we were in a completely different business. Now I understand the conflicting reviews from others. Appears as if building 1 is simply neglected. No photos of our room in building 3 because it was fine. But room 109 was terrible. This is an owner issue. The staff were all still very fry and housekeeping had the room clean.

Rooms are barely cleaned and very small. I would take my money elsewhere, don’t make the same mistake I did staying here. The rooms just feel very sloppy with drywall holes everywhere and the bathroom door won’t even close. Unless it’s dirty cheap, I wouldn’t recommend staying here ever

I was on vacation with my kids and my grandkids. The milestone Accommodated us with rooms next each other instead of in separate building, because they were. Very friendly and clean. Grandbabies had a great time in their very clean pool too. I was very happy and impressed. Definitely going back. Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend.

This place genuinely just saved my vacation. My partner and I decided to stay at a different inn to save a few bucks, and quickly realized that was a terrible mistake! We had been to The Milestone six or so months ago, so we decided (in the middle of the night last night) to see if there was any occupancy, and there was! We booked a room for basically twelve hours in the future, and we're so happy we did. Thankfully, it's just as nice as we remembered. It's air conditioned, clean, quiet, and quite spacious for the price. Definitely worth the money!

This is one of the nicest cheaper hotels I've stayed out; the room is very clean and, at least on my off-season visit, very quiet. No road noise whatsoever. I can't speak to the breakfast, but there is a cold continental breakfast available, since it didn't begin until too late for me.
For fellow travelers, I had a great dinner down the road at Brickyard Hollow Brewing Company.
