Friendly staff and clean rooms. The bathroom could use an update. You are less than a 1/4 mile from the beach. Excellent for the price and location.

Nice clean basic room. Beautifully pool and lawn sitting areas. Pleasant walk to beach. Town center is a bit more of a hike but doable.

Booked this hotel to stay in for a night on the coast. Ended up in the hospital having emergency surgery and they have refused to refund me any portion of my stay. I understand there is a cancellation policy and would not have minded a penalty, but to keep the whole cost of the trip is just beyond unacceptable.I sent them copies of my hospital stay, my surgery, etc. and they still refused any kind of refund.Definitely won't be booking here again.

This place is absolutely perfect. Clean, central to everything including trips to Boston or Bangor. I look forward to staying here again and you are a mile walk to the Footbridge to the beach. The breakfast is kinda lame with just bagels and Aldi cereal, but hey you eat for energy. THANK YOU GUYS FOR A GREAT 1ST VISIT TO NEW ENGLAND!!!!Rooms: Clean and basicNearby activities: Beach, far enough from the shops where you could save money :) , but close to the Omelet FactorySafety: Very safe and quietWalkability: Less than a mile walk to the beach

If you are looking for a comfy, cozy, and reasonably priced resort in Ogunquit, you have to spend a night or two at “The Milestone”.The Milestone is a seasonal, beach-town resort. We drove up to Maine for a weekend trip and decided to stay at The Milestone. The staff was extremely accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and that there were no issues. The first night we stayed in their Two-Queen Bed Suite. It has two queen beds, a walk-in shower, and a large sitting area with a couch and chairs. For those who like to enjoy their morning coffee, each room has chairs and a table outside your door. The suite was spotless and very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were nice and supportive. The room isn’t the most modern, but it is a beach town. You’re spending time out and about, not staying in your room all day.We loved it so much we reached out to the office to extend our stay an extra day. Unfortunately, someone had the suite booked so we had to move rooms. No big deal. The staff met us outside and handed us our keys to our new room. The room was still very spacious considering it is not a suite. The beds were comfortable in this room as well. They do a great job of keeping the property in tip-top shape. They are also much more reasonable than some of the other resorts! We paid around $100 each night, which is very reasonable in my opinion. We wished we could’ve extended our stay ANOTHER day. Unfortunately, we had to head back to Boston for a prior commitment. We love the place. It is incredibly quaint and cozy.I would strongly suggest “The Milestone” for those traveling up to Ogunquit. The accommodations are spotless and the staff is very responsive to any issues or concerns that may arise. My only tip is to be sure you’re out at 11AM sharp. They have zero flexibility with that. The phone in the room literally rang at 11AM on-the-dot.If it was busy and peak season, I could understand. However, this was not the case. They even closed one of the buildings given the season winding down. They could be more flexible with this. I come to relax, not scramble to be out at 11AM sharp.Rooms: Rooms are spotless and clean. It’s very quiet, you don’t hear other guests walking around above you.Safety: Area and Resort is very safe. You can open the windows at night to enjoy the ocean without concern.Walkability: Ogunquit is a walking town. However, Uber and Lyft are available.Food & drinks: No restaurant or bar on site. Plan on going out to eat and drink.

I had stayed at this facility many many times over the years and wanted to give it a try after reading reviews since new ownership etc. I made reservations through Expedia and honestly, they were more supportive than the Milestone with the experience; I've heard nothing from Management after phone call and a VM since my recent stay there for feedback.I stayed 2 nights with my young daughter; booked standard room. While the room was fairly clean, our room was located right next to the housekeeping door and super close to the road. In addition, none of the outlets worked so it was dark! I went in to the desk to ask kindly if we could be moved as it was noisy loud being so close to the road and we couldn't use the outlets. I was told if I wanted to do so I'd have to pay more money to be placed into another room with 2 double beds. They were vacant (it was a rainy weekend also) and certainly had other rooms that they could've sent me to but were not willing to do so. Instead of fighting I decided to stay as they wouldn't refund me my money or anything either. The next day I went in and found a maintenance worker who at least tried to help the outlet issue but had no luck. He was able to have 1 work (so I had 1 little light) but I had to unplug it to plug in my phone charger then have no light etc. NOT GOOD. It's unfortunate that there is such poor customer service as it used to be great. I really enjoyed this place but I won't be returning again. I don't think if I had booked through them vs. Expedia either that the response would've been any different but I ended up paying over $500 for 2 nights with such loudness, disturbing, no lights or access to electricity and with no refund or option to move into a room without paying more money! Uncalled for!

It’s our best kept secret! Minutes from the ocean. Close to the summer trolley system. Checkout Ogunquit!Rooms: Clean, spacious, and a great king!Nearby activities: The ocean! Did I mention the ocean? The best beach around. Close to the downtown. Marginal Way is a must. Shopping! Excellent food all around.Safety: An excellent location! Multiple levels for the motel and well kept grounds. Good parking and well lit.Walkability: Close to downtown. Suggest walking the beach…. Long walks, a run, a stroll, or check out the bike paths in town and all around.

Overall, The staff were very nice. I was surprised that we had our room freshened without asking, since we only stayed two days. That is pretty rare these days. Our room had great air conditioning. We walked in and my kids loved it! Only one issue from me was that they did not use a fitted sheet and the flat sheet came untucked, causing wrinkling in the night, but this is only a slight annoyance. I would definitely stay here again!!!Rooms: We may have paid more for a "Premium Room" but it was excellent, as it had recently been remodeled!Walkability: We loved being able to walk to Footbridge beach instead of paying a $35 fee for parking. Also, there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The office staff and housekeeping are the most personable folks you could meet. Even though Ogunquit is a somewhat "vacation" destination, they are on top of things during your whole stay. The prices were certainly reasonable considering the time of year. Thanks to all of you for a memorable stay each time we are in your area.
