Customer above all else. What more can I say? The Grand Hotel Ogunquit is THE place to stay while visiting this lovely town. My wife and I visited for our babymoon and plan to do so again, thanks to our great experience. We arrived late at night but the hotel staff, notably Heidi, had everything prepared for our arrival. Room key, instructions and plenty of thoughtful notes were left for us for our arrival. We felt as we were in GREAT hands. The level of service was above and beyond and to the highest level of understanding for us. We also felt very comfortable and welcomed thanks to the notes left for us.Rooms were great, very roomy with a living room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Tons of space for sure. The hotel also has a heated indoor pool that we didn't use as we forgot bathing suits, and an outdoor hot tub. No breakfast served but there is a coffee bar available each morning.Location of the hotel is fantastic. A mile-ish walk to downtown, less than half mile walk to Perkins Cove and conveniently located close to plenty of great food and shop spots. Also, the trolley makes a stop at the hotel, so an easy $5 will get you where you need to go if you don't feel like walking. All in all, the Grand Hotel Ogunquit is a great stay for first timers and returning visitors. Expect nothing but the best here.

Very mediocre accommodations that desperately needs updating. Terrible shower that is small with a shower head that is non effective. Sitting on the couch is not comfortable.

Stayed two nights at the hotel in August and the location was perfect! I could walk to everything so I didn’t have to worry about parking to see this lovely little town.

I'm happy to say that the Grand Hotel continued to be a comfortable place to stay post-pandemic, just as it was pre-pandemic (our last time we stayed!). The only change is that they no longer offer a complimentary continental breakfast (they still offer coffee and tea in the lobby from 7AM to 12 noon), so you'll have to forage on your own (but a morning stroll into the village for a breakfast sandwich is not really so bad). Service continued to be attentive and room-cleaning prompt. The 2-room suites we had were spacious with a king bed, sofa-bed, balcony, microwave, coffee-maker, mini-fridge, and sound machine. The A/C worked well and cooled us off nicely on these hot and humid days!

Very nice hotel. Very clean, nice bed. We had a suite and a little balcony where we ate lobster rolls and laughed at the chipmunk in the garden.Nearby activities: In walking distance of Marginal Way.

My husband and I had booked a 3 night stay. It was to be 6/1-6/4. Sadly , on 5/21, it became evident that we needed to cancel due to a medical emergency with our daughter in law related to the death of her husband , our son. After calling 3 times, I was told that they could only refund 1/2 of the charge due to their cancellation policy. First, no where is the cancellation policy posted and secondly, how cold and insensitive can you be!!! Clearly they’ve not experienced such trauma !!! We will NEVER book there again!!

This was our first visit to The Grand Hotel. ? It's a quaint little place, we just loved our balcony, with the birds singing every morning. The Hotel sits just far enough from the hectic center of town and close enough to ⛱️ the beaches with a short walk.. The indoor wading pool and the hot tub are added perks as well. Our room was themed with a nautical design, including tasteful prints of the surrounding lighthouses and ⛱️ beaches of Maine. How Lovely! Can't wait for our next visit, we will be back! ?⛵️??

We stayed here a few times and I just couldn't shake the impression that I was bothering someone when I asked the staff a question - which I rarely did, especially given that one of our stays was in September of 2021. The location is perfect - you can walk to local shopping, the Marginal Way or Perkins Cove, so it's not even necessary to move your car if you want to stay local for the day. The rooms are quite dated and even a little bit depressing - which I'd overlook as long as they are clean, which they are. We stayed in a suite each time and appreciated the outdoor space. There's nothing in the way of food/drink available (breakfast is an issue in Ogunquit and even something simple would be really welcome.) It's a shame, given the excellent location - we won't be back.

We had a very nice stay. It was very quiet for sleeping. Staff was nice. Room was clean. I would have given it 5 stars however there was a lot of dust and could use new pillows and mattress. In the open public area along with the curtains and bed area it is completely dusty. It was so much so that we had to keep the windows opened. It just needs a good dusting (cleaning) and maybe filter changes. The pool and hot tub were very clean. I would recommend this place as long as you have no allergies to dust.

Blew away my expectations. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping were extremely helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the size of the room, and the amenities such as the pool + hot tub. The room was clean, more modern then the pictures, and the balcony was nice. Great location. Only issue was the parking. Tight spots, if you have big truck or SUV it might be for difficult to squeeze in.

First time staying. Just moved out of my apartment in Saco and my new place isn’t quite ready yet, so decided to find a spot I could work remotely and also relax a bit. I reserved three nights via booking.com but wish I hadn’t; I’m not blaming the hotel/staff but I was a bit frustrated that I later glanced at the hotel’s website and saw a special advertised for a 4th night free. Live & learn…my friend that was with me did inquire about it (I have laryngitis) just to see if anything could be worked out but it was a solid “no.” The room was very clean and quiet; I loved having a porch to sit outside for some fresh air. The hot tub was nice, too. The pool didn’t seem heated (I thought I read somewhere that it was), but either way the hot tub was the way to go. The coffee, tea and hot water were a nice touch, but I do agree with other reviewers that some sort of complimentary snack or light breakfast option would be awesome…I’m sure it’s tough these days to make it sustainable for business owners, but I do think it would be a nice touch to reconsider. The staff were very pleasant, I believe I had the pleasure of seeing three different folks (two ladies and one young man). The young man was very eager to help my friend when we needed an extra trash bag and tissues.I also should mention that during my booking, I wrote a message to the desk staff letting them know I would be accompanied by my service dog; I was relieved for such a smooth process with this, as sometimes places that have a no “pet” policy really look down on service animals, too. It’s always an extra worry I have, but the Grand alleviated that right away.I would recommend this for folks looking for a quiet place to relax for a few days.
