“I live in Maine about 25 mins from York. I go to the beach a lot with my two autistic daughters (4 and 2). We met some friends there today and one had a boogie board. Well my 4 yr old was having non-stop meltdowns about it and I walked both of them over to Beach Funatic to see if they had any. Not only did they have a good selection at reasonable prices but the sales clerk knew we were heading back to the water and took all the plastic off for us!!! She went way above and beyond to help me. She didn’t know my daughters have special needs. She didn’t know I was stressed to the max trying to avoid my kids eloping in the store or running into the street. She just wanted to do something kind for a mom with two little kids. I didn’t get her name but I hope she knows what that small act of kindness did for md today. Kids LOVE the boogie boards and their dad is planning the trip back over to teach them how to use them. Thank you!!”

“We happened to stop by this toy store right as they were closing (without realizing it at first). The employee was literally walking down the stairs to lock the door, yet she greeted us so kindly and let my children look around without rushing them. She patiently waited while they made their choices, and we are so grateful for her kindness. My kids had been to the other toy stores before this and hadn’t found what they were looking for, but this one did not disappoint—they each left very happy with several toys! The selection is wonderful, and the customer service was above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back (at proper hours this time!).”
