“Not the best produce, but not bad either… and sometimes the meat goes bad before the best by date so I only buy raw meat if I’m cooking it the same day or the next. It’s not my fridge because everything else including milk is fine and when I buy raw meat from other stores, the meat doesn’t go bad quickly. Once you know the quirks of the store and what to buy or not buy, it’s a good local grocery store and the employees are all very nice.”
“Their selection was decent they had the best selection of what I usually get that I found in the Bangor area and their prices were decent as well. I wish I could have sampled some of their barrel picks I might have bought some if I knew the profile.”

“The hemp cones were mixed in with the tobacco ones. I bought several ones with nicotine because they were mixed with the hemp ones. I will have to check closer next time because they apparently get mixed in, probably from customers putting them back in the wrong spots.”

“Although they have no control over pricing, they do have control over their attitude. Every single employee I have dealt with has been the absolute best!!! Needed a bunch of nips for an adult egg hunt (it’s Easter) and wanted a specific type for different people. Clerk was not only amazing but felt he was very personable!! Gave me suggestions and I never felt hurried!!! Damon’s Bangor is the best!!!”

“Went here all the time while we attended UMaine. Our weekend treat was to go on a Friday afternoon and get a few fancy craft sodas to enjoy over the weekend. On snow days we went in the morning for fresh donuts and hot cocoa. It was nice to always see Roberta in there. I hope we get to return there someday.”
