“Normally I would give Oxford Hannaford Pharmacy a 5 star rating but I am currently dealing with an unfortunate and frustrating situation. I picked up one of my prescriptions last night which is the only one of mine that they fill 3 months at a time. So when I got home I noticed that there wasn't a many bottles as there usually is. I decided to count them and my 3 month prescription was short more than an entire months worth. I called this morning and the pharmacist was super nice and said that he would check the inventory and get back to me. 6 hours later and I hadn't heard back so I called again they still can't give me any info as to what could possibly have happened that would explain why there was so many pills missing. I feel like something like this should be taken extremely seriously by the pharmacist and he would want to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible.”

“If you think the pharmacy screwed you it was probably because you didnt call it in or your doctors office messed up the transfer. I kept blaming these poor people when my doc was the one screwing up the process. Keep up the hard work folks.”

“I really like their new store in Mechanic Falls. The food is displayed beautifully. Their new App program is great and I truly love the $$$ rewards on my register receipt every quarter. It encourages you to purchase Hannaford Brand products ... no hardship there as the store brand products are usually as good or better, and less expensive, than the pricey name brand counterparts. If I had a negative, it would be that I wish the store was bigger. Staff is amazingly helpful and friendly.”

“I just wanted to say and make it known the technician Melinda was either coming back from break or just showing up to her shift and the FIRST thing she did was acknowledge me which is way more then Jade and Robin did. I sat in the drive thru for 5 mins rang the bell and Jade and Robin couldn’t even be bothered to look in my direction horrible customer service at least a 1 minute sign would have been nice I get your short staffed and over worked but please don’t take that out on your customers so thank you Melinda for helping me and being kind you truly showed customer appreciation you were polite to my toddler in the back seat who was over waiting. Walgreens please know it’s the Melinda’s who make our experience better and the reasons we come back. One person made this negative review positive and that’s why I give you 4 stars. Also sorry to Melinda because of her coworkers actions a huge line was formed which I’m sure she is still dealing with.”

“2/21/2026 - I am not sure who helped me today in the pharmacy department today just before 4pm, but she was absolutely wonderful. There was someone in front of me when I arrived and waited in line, and loved the way she spoke to the customer in front of me. He asked a few questions and she spoke to him with such kindness and patience. When the customer in front of me was satisfied with his answers, he left, and before she went to drive thru, she acknowledged me, explained she was the only pharmacist available at the time she did a great job bouncing back and forth between counter customers and drive thru customers. Very patient and kind with everyone.”

I work retail and I think it's quite disgusting how people treat the the retail industry. Ever since covid, it's a very me world. Very selfish and mean. Everyone is short handed and doing the best they can. So thank you Walgreens for doing the best you can. ❤️”
