We went with a large group. Our waitress was excellent! She was attentive and efficient. She made my drink exactly how I asked her to. (Which never happens.) The food was good. My food didn't come out hot enough but was all delivered at the same time and I enjoyed it. All in all, I would definitely recommend the restaurant Maurice!

If you want to try this place out, make a reservation, dress well, and be prepared to spend $30-50 per person. Honestly, for that price, there are so many better places you can go to eat that won't make you wait forever for you food. Atmosphere is literally a tiny house. They treated us as poor paupers while we were there. Never going back

I would have given Maurice 3 stars, but my husband said 4. On the plus side: very nice and efficient waitstaff, very reasonable prices, server brought us a pitcher of ice water on request (it's amazing how many restaurants refuse this simple request!), husband's dinner special (haddock with feta, artichoke hearts, and olives) was very good, temperature was comfortable (not the unfortunately frequent frigid cold AC), and the tables were spaced a good distance apart, making it easy to talk due to the quiet atmosphere. On the negative side: the lighting was very bright and harsh. Not at all appropriate for a fine dining establishment. This could be fixed so simply by just switching the ceiling light fixtures to a lower wattage bulb. My entree of steak with shiitake mushrooms and scallions was served with an unpleasant excess of melted butter. The vegetables (carrots and green beans) were overcooked.

I know you're short staffed, but the food needs some work. Super salty, bernaise cold and lumpy, swimming in oil (not garlic butter) missing the scallions

We went to this establishment because it had such great reviews. First off the wait was once seated was quite longWe didnt mind but it was quite long. The waitress was a little flustered and it showed. I was told the pasta and shells were highly sought after being vegetarian i ordered that and the potato and leek soup. The pasta waa watery and cheap tasting. The soup had nothing in it and was thin. ( usually a thick soup). My other dinnermates ordered pot pie and it was dry and lacked flavor. It also took over 45 minutes to come out. For the money and quality its worth eating elsewhereVegetarian options: There isnt any reallyWheelchair accessibility: The ramp slightly steep not the worse or best

Amazing food, great ambiance, very attentive service. Best escargot I’ve ever eaten by a mile, and among the best scallops if not the very best. Wicked creme brûlée! & so reasonably priced!!!! If my dad & I had the same entrees/wine in Houston, it’d have been over $250 rather than under $100. I was very lucky to get a reservation at short notice, extremely happy with everything. Just a great meal & experience. I’d recommend it to anyoneParking: Easy to park
