Call around to various chain tire shops..."well, maybe we can make an appointment for a week from now, and you'll have to leave the car all day." Someone tells me about Cahill, I call, they say sure, come anytime. The tire is fixed and I'm on my way in less than 20 minutes. I was honestly impressed. Certainly the most efficient tire repair operation I've seen in the US. You pull up in front, they jack up the car, remove the wheel, find the problem, fix it, and then put the tire back on. Bang, bang, bang. No pretense, no wasted effort. If you've got a flat near Bath, don't waste your time going anywhere else.”
“I wish I could give 1000++++ stars if I could. Being a young woman it's hard to trust certain people who try to "help" you by taking advantage of our little to no knowledge on "manly" things. I've always struggled to believe if I truly needed "that extra part" or "this certain package deal," that seems to have no extra purpose, but to just get my money. I can honestly say VIP on 51 Bath road made me feel beyond informed and secured that my car was going to get taken care of, along with answering every question I had and they gave it to me honestly. I also had the pleasure of talking with the boss who was so pleasant and so understanding and reassured me I was going to get taken care of under his watch. My car was done within a few hours, so i was able to get back on the road. I truly couldn't recommend VIP in brunswick Maine enough to anyone who needs and wants a mechanic who truly listens and understands and is respectful of your needs, wants, and desires for your auto needs. “The place is located just off the main drag in Cooks Corner, which is nice as you don't have to deal with fast moving traffic while pulling in or out of the facility. I waited a bit to get in but it wasn't too long. I followed their directions, got to the right spot, killed the engine, popped the hood and off they went. I don't recall the guy's name but he approached the car and made some nice compliments and got my information. After a bit they told me that the plastic cover over my oil pan was loose and they had to secure it with a couple of wire ties. This was actually great because, while driving, I would occasionally hear something banging, but I couldn't figure out what it was, but it has stopped since they fixed the loose plastic...no charge...and I certainly appreciate the extra attention. The oil change went as expected and I was in and out in quick fashion. I am always very impressed with the great service I get at Prompto at Cooks Corner in Brunswick. Today I am taking my daughter-in-laws car in for an oil change and I expect it will go smoothly as usual. Great place, nice people, super service, well worth the price, which is very reasonable, even for the synthetic oil service.”

“I'm very pleased with my new (old) car. Last week I needed a reliable used car while I'm in Maine for a few months. After some research, I found a 2013 Subaru Outback at Skelton's using CarGurus online. Even though it was a 2 hour drive, guided by previous positive reviews of Skelton's, I decided to go check it out.I was not disappointed. Andrew showed me the car. No pressure to upsell to another more expensive car and it was exactly as advertised. He was straightforward about work he had recently done and pointed out minor details (the previous owner had dogs that had left some upholstery console scratches). “Richard Bowen is a superb manager. He knows my name and warmly greets me when I come into the store. How often does that happen?Last week I discovered that my car's inspection was going to expire. I called and he got me in to have it checked out. I was surprised when there was no charge because I was a veteran. The next week I called with a problem with my truck's brakes. He got me in the next day and repaired the brakes for the price he originally provided in the estimate. Throughout the process he kept me up to speed on how the repair was progressing. I could not ask for more from a car-care facility. Richard ensures that his store provides 5 star service!”

“Darlings were fantastic. Through no fault of them, this was an overall worst buying experience of my life. Ford failed to deliver the vehicle I had chosen and had a deposit on. We have no idea where it went, but it showed up three weeks late. Darlings tried a dealer swap with a Massachusetts dealer, but they refused the swap because of some tree sap in the vehicle Darlings had brought for trade. Darlings then bought a vehicle from a New York dealer and brought it to Maine. They worked well above anything I would have hoped for. As it turns out, I like the vehicle they got in New York better than the original vehicle. Darlings did me a tremendous favor and worked exceptionally hard to get me a vehicle. They drove hundreds of miles and three man days of work. I would very highly recommend Darlings. THANKS!”

The price was excellent, the quality of the product outstanding and all the folks involved from Paul, to Jennifer, to Brent and Austin who did the flawless installation, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Great product, great price and fast and highly professional service. They show up on time and go beyond to make sure everything is done right, including installing our new window blinds which we had previously bought elsewhere.
