The store is filthy and unorganized there were items for purchase all over the aisles not safe for anyone to be shopping in this store as they could trip over things just laying around.

Typical Family Dollar store. Not much to say. They had what I was looking for and the price was on point...$1 lol. Clean store, friendly staff.

I was so impressed with the attitude of the employees. They were smiling and helpful, answering questions without a fuss. In this time of stress within the country it is nice to be met with good customer service. Family Dollar should be proud of its employees.

Family dollar is surprisingly well supplied in household items and paper goods. They have an amazing assortment of items that you might not expect to find in an inexpensive family store.

talking to customers is great, but maybe not when theres a line of people; and also being the manager on your phone. Plus, the cashier is slow as HELL. How can you just stand there and not worry about wait time?

I visited on 7/25/21 Somerset Ave. Family Dollar Store, Pittsfield, ME. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Very helpful and pleasant was Asst MJ, first name, Barbara, with the 'can-do attitude" with a smile, as she honored my request to go over the items in my shopping bags, and, as I found an article will a higher price than what I intended to pay. Barbara said it's probably because a shopper must have placed the item on another shelf will a lower price, as she said "It happens all of the time, instead of taking the unwanted item to the cash register counter" The 'higher price' mystery of the rung-up item was solved. I noted that the clerk that waited on me, made a comment that he didn't like to put some items with food items, that was very considerate, I wish I had gotten his name to give him Kudos. He also lugged heavy items around the counter to put into my shopping cart! The only complaint I have is the shelves without price labels, this is a penny pincher's pet peeve. So one point off of an otherwise pleasant visit.

Always good value and cheaper prices. One of my favorite places to shop when money is tight much better than Wal-Mart on most things....most
