Avoid at all costs. They don’t answer their phone, or it’s busy for literally hours on end, the phone message does not identify who they are (if you are blessed enough that you do get a phone message), and I caught them lying and giving false or misleading info..

They don't deliver mail on Saturdays so my suggestion is to go through UPS or FedEx if you really need a package in a timely fashion. It does no good to complain on Google reviews because they don't ever address the issues. All you can do is warn each other

Carrier is LAZY! Damaged packages are constant because he’s too lazy to bring to the door and forces items TOO LARGE in the mailbox!!! He also stacks packages on top of mailbox to be left in the rain. Tell your carrier to do his job and bring packages to porches/front doors!!!! 4 packages in my mailbox containing 2 items each. 6/8 items COMPLETELY crushed due to a USPS carriers pure carelessness. There had been a sign posted big and bright (permanently fixtured) on the mailbox(es) to bring packages to the door going forward. I will leave my ne t review in person if this doesn’t come to an end.7/23/2022

Excellent customer service! I debated visiting because of a slew of bad reviews. The gentleman that took care of me was very nice and seemed very helpful. Not everyone is customer service material so clearly they've adjusted their counter person accordingly. Thank you for an excellent experience!

It’s never been so difficult to get my mail before. They deliver this day then they hold the next, then deliver then hold (even when the road is in decent shape)and whenever I call to find out what they are doing that particular day, they do the exact opposite of what they told me which results in us not getting our mail at all. Very, very frustrating.

This 800 number is the most inconvenient and not user friendly automated service I have ever tried. Took me over 20 min and inputting my tracking number 6 times and I still got no where! Still didn't get to talk to anyone. Absolutely irritating.

The younger guy who delivers the mail can’t do his job right. He says there no access to delivery when there is, driveway is always open, which postpones my mail. He keeps shoving and I mean shoving mail into the mail box when it’s not even our mail. It’s full to the point it’s ruining the mail and calling the office doesn’t do anything. They either don’t Answer or don’t care. There’s so much mail in my mailbox nothing fits in it. This is so unprofessional and a disaster.

Consistently failing to deliver packages, failing to leave notices of delivery failure as well. I have gone to the post office and filled out the form requesting all my packages to be delivered to my house, which happens once in a blue moon.

Honestly I have never met somebody so rude and disrespectful as the older man that works there at the Poland office. There was quite a few people waiting in the lobby and he popped his head out of the door and asked if we needed something two of us told him that we needed stamps and he said I can't help you and slammed the door closed. So we were waiting for a gentleman to be done at the register so we could go in and try to get a stamp. 5 minutes later he pokes his head out and two more people come in and he screamed at all of us and told us we all need to get out and told us that the system was down. Which he did not tell us beforehand but instead screamed at five people standing in there. Fortunately the women in there are very nice but he is one of the meanest people I have ever met for no reason it is incredibly unprofessional especially for a government job. He definitely needs to be let go and I know these are hard times but nobody has the right to scream at people for doing absolutely nothing but trying to use their business for the services they provide. I'm sure he has his own issues to deal with but he cannot take them out on the public.

Just got a message from my son who lives at my place now, that the mail lady said she would not deliver his mail because the mail box is too low and does not shut. I lived there for 15 Years before moving. My mailbox was the first one there and now the rest are the same height. I guess she forgot that she is the one who hit my mailbox and damaged it. All the mail boxes are the same height and my lid is broken off because of her. I don’t care if the mail gets wet- why should she? She has never ever mentioned the height before???

The guy at the desk might be the rudest man in Maine. Makes my blood pressure go up every time I have to deal with him. Also, doesn't wear a mask and only a small screen which doesn't even get between patrons and clerk. The New Gloucester PO is much more customer service oriented and they have a big screen between patrons and clerks. One day I pulled into the parking lot and there were about a hundred packages just sitting outside with nobody nearby. Anyone could have made off with the whole lot .

Worst post office I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely horrible customer service. Anyone I have delt with has been consistantly rude and impolite. They need to do some employee training on how to interact with customers.
