This 7-Eleven on Congress Ave in Portland is considered by some to be the best they have ever been to, with very friendly people and staff described as having the biggest hearts. The store is a good store with a broad selection of fresh, high-quality products at great prices, including fast, convenient, and delicious hot foods. It is a go-to destination for custom-made coffee at self-serve stations. The personnel are very good at what they do under difficult circumstances due to the location and the intricacies of many of the customers. Their job requires total customer service with authority to keep things in order, being friendly yet gaining respect so customers follow the rules, which the staff accomplishes most of the time. However, there are a lot of people hanging around out front all the time, which can be uncomfortable for a woman alone, especially after dark. Despite this, it remains a top favorite store for many regular customers who praise the different shifts.

The people that work there are wonderful and there's always something to grab for a snack. Or even if you need toilet paper, it's 7-Eleven I mean who doesn't love a 7-Eleven

We had a great experience at the Seven Eleven in downtown Portland! The Slurpee was cool and refreshing - perfect for a sunny day!
