The staff is very kind and helpful. The artwork and items sold there are very expensive, but beautiful and well-made. The warehouse is clean and maintained.

Great Asian shop in downtown Portland. Prices are fair given the caliber of what’s being sold. We bought a few items for the family and had a great shopping experience. The store is very well kept and tidy.

We have always went out of our way to visit Asia West whenever we visited Portland ME. Now that we live here we went there to get a gift for a good friend and the staff was amazing, helpful and provided us with amazing insight to guide us to the perfect!

Good selection of teak furniture and an Old Port staple. Have found some pretty unique pieces here over the years. Prices are usually pretty reasonable given they are located on Commercial St. and undoubtedly being gouged for rent.

This business does not take accountabilty in the pursuit of customer service. I made a purchase of drift wood with a glass molding. The problem was they prefer to use "Use" bubble wrap instead of fresh bubble wrap or EP-Flex renew by Pregis. In closing the glass shattered , i remember the young lady did not pack with care because the line was long, and she did not want the line to escalate. Otherwise I called looking for a resolution, the young man stated no refund, although that is not what i had in mind. I was seeking accountabilty on both sides. My funds was not the issue although I spend close to a hundred doolars. Never pay in cash use a debit or credit card for tracking.

Asia West has been a staple in the Old Port retail scene for the last 2 decades. They supply Portland and the surrounding area with unique pieces from all over Asia. Asia West has a beautiful retail location on Commercial St that has accessories like scarves and jewelry, but also showcases the company's beautiful imported, handmade and antique furniture. One of the greatest additions to Asia West is their new warehouse location on Cassidy Point Dr in the West End of Portland. It's a great opportunity to see the larger stock that Asia West has to offer.

The minute you walk into this lovely store in the Old Port, you are dazzled by the rich colors and elaborate carvings! Beautiful furniture unlike anything you will find elsewhere. Every piece is one-of-a-kind , from large cabinets and tables, to scarves and jewelry. Every nook and cranny of this shop is enchantingly staged to delight the eye! Employees are very helpful but not intrusive, which I love. This librarian suggests you “check it outâ€!

Beautifully curated, locally-owned store in the Old Port in Portland, ME. Unique furniture, textiles, home décor & accessories imported from Southeast Asia. I purchased a gorgeous hand-carved bench for my bedroom at a very reasonable price- (particularly for an antique import) & now have to fight the cats for the best sunning spot in our house! (See photos.) In a world of chain box stores & particle board furniture, this is a refreshing must-stop for unique home décor when you're in Portland!
