David was extremely honest, kind, informative, and patient with us through this process. He was extremely attentive at answering our questions, emails, and phone calls at all hours of the day. He did a fantastic job at educating and explaining things to us as we needed some guidance as it was our first time. I actually look forward to visiting the branch! William, the asst branch mgr was also helpful...we had a nice chat and a few laughs before I went. “Been here a couple times since they opened. I haven't seen in very busy as of yet. The interior is very cozy and warm feeling. They have a coffee counter if you want a cup go ahead and grab a cup. The waiting area is nice lots of chairs and seats to relax in while you wait. Friendly staff on site. I've noticed that a lot of them speak different languages which is nice with Maine's Diversity on the rise. It's not that busy or hasn't been the few times I have been here.”

Nicholas Hallowell helped to get me all set up along with all of the information I would need to get payroll set up through Bangor Payroll. Phil from payroll was very helpful in the process as well, a special gesture of gratitude goes to Nick for talking me through an honestly nerve wracking first encounter with things typically beyond my paygrade that I now had to become familiar with. He was kind, helpful and very insightful for the questions I had. I hope to see him climb the ranks at this branch because any visit after that first one he has gone above and beyond even working a few minutes past his shift to make sure I was taken care of. My loyalty will stay with Bangor Savings for the foreseeable future to say the least.”

“Pretty good I am a first time buyer on a car and town and country didn’t even meet me and approved me for a car loan and I didn’t even have credit and I got approved I did put money down but I would definitely get another loan through them when I pay this off and now it’s my bank for my paychecks so I can just have my payment taken out every month”

“Must disagree with any reviewer who gave Gorham Savings Bank and specifically the Marginal Way branch anything LESS than 5 stars!My entire family banks with them: me, my son and his wife who live in Baltimore, my mother who is elderly and lives in a retirement and , my brother who recently passed away and lived half the year out of the country...my family members all have/had separate challenges (my son is blind, my mother has beginning dementia, my brother died out of the country and left a family there - absolute NIGHTMARE to get money easily to them) and each and every GSB employee I have had to deal with have shown exemplary compassion, understanding and professionalism...if I was able to give them 10 stars, I would. I will NEVER bank anywhere else!”
