“I called Steve for the first time yesterday to change my breaks and rotors that I let go for far too long. Steve picked up immediately and said that he was in between shops but still offering mobile service. Steve went out of his way to come not only give me a quote but say that he could have it done the same day. He got it done and made sure that I did a couple test runs before he sent me on my way. I would recommend Steve to anybody.”

“At 56 years old I've had many cars and both good and bad mechanics. Joseph and his team were great! I live in PA and bought a used truck in ME. I bought used running boards, a bed cover (both of which were wrong size). Joseph made them both work. The tailgate would not open, he fixed that but told me the lock was not working. I said don't worry, I won't need the lock. When I picked it up it was fixed. They even stayed open late on a Friday to finish all of the work. Can't recommend him enough!”
“Our 2007 Toyota Sienna has covered over 200,000 miles in adventures going cross country twice as well as our only vehicle currently- it’s great to haul anything so we plan to keep it till as long as we can.
We learned that due to rust accumulation on the underside of the car, we would need new rocker panels placed In order to pass Maine’s state inspection. The years of travel on Maines roadways in all weather had caught up to us.
After investigating who does this kind of work, I gathered 3 recommendations from body shops and auto mechanics who
told me that I should contact Andrew Mizner at his Rust Repair business on 1901 Forest Ave. in Portland. That afternoon, I drove over to his garage for his quick look and assessment on the spot without an appointment and he gave us a verbal estimate of what the car would need based on his knowledge of the vehicle and a ballpark price range with a top not to exceed $ quote.
We had planned to stay out of state over the winter without the car stored, so he told me to call upon our return for scheduling and repair. Upon our return 3 months later, he responded very quickly to my call ( like within minutes ) and made everything easy as far as scheduling and fitting us in as I had to rent a car for the three day period he anticipated he would need the car.
The work was done within the stated three days, and above and notably beyond, Andrew honored the verbal quote he had given us originally all those months ago even though he admitted that the amount of rust and rot to the undercarriage had actually taken more of his labor time in welding work in order to safely complete the assignment. He was also able to give us our Maine state inspection.
We honor Andrew‘s work ethic, honesty, thoroughness and expertise at his craft. I wish I could give his business a six star rating!”
