I have a 9year old dog and a 4 year old cat and have been going to Casco Bay Veterinary for their care since I adopted both of them a few years ago… I have nothing but praise for their care, compassion, knowledge and treatment of my beloved fur babies… from nail trimming to a torn ACL where they referred me to MVMC in Scarborough to their orthopedic surgeon who was wonderful!! I love how they both work directly with my TRUPANION Pet Insurance and has been a blessing.

Staff is incredibly friendly. I never feel pressured to make a decision I'm uncomfortable with, and always feel confident in my choices based on the knowledge of the staff. So glad Casco Bay takes care of our pets!

One thing I particularly appreciate about Casco Bay Vet Hospital is that the staff assisting the doctors are so friendly and caring. Also, if they say they are going to get back to me, they always do. When one of my cats passed away, not only did the vet call me to see how I was doing, but every member of the staff wrote a note on a card that they sent me.

Only place that provides rat care at an affordable price. Dr.Ring has by far the most rat experience in the area. Casco bay does a great job tending to our very niche pets

Knowledgeable, professional and kind veterinary services. They go above and beyond in the conscientious care of animals. I could see the plants in their waiting room were well taken care of and it was soothing and relaxing to have this greenery there. Everyone on the veterinary team was excellent: the doctor, the vet assistant, and those at the front desk who I could hear having helpful and compassionate phone conversations with pet owners. I much appreciated the caring manner of everyone there.

EXCELLENT, A-Game care and knowledge. Dr. O has helped us in many a jam with emergencies. I have been to other vets with bunny and these guys are just fantastic.

Love the positivity that pervades Casco Bay Vet. Everyone is pleasant, caring and knowledgeable and it is a treat to have Rummi cared for there. Shout out to Dr. Ring!!!

Casco Bay Vet is very responsive and takes great care of my dog! All the technicians, vets, and staff I've met have been so compassionate and clearly love animals. They make the process of bringing in a reactive dog very easy and stress-free and my dog loves everyone she's met there. I called one morning for a cough my dog had picked up and they were able to fit me in for a checkup later that morning!

Our long time veterinarian Dr Alicia Ring has reappeared at Casco Bay Veterinary Hospital in Portland. We took Gracie there last week and could not be more pleased. We were able to get a prompt appointment. The staff there are pleasant, personable and professional. Dr Ring was great. We would highly recommend Dr Ring and Casco Bay Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Ring quickly determined that GiGi’s condition was a serious emergency and referred her to Maine Veterinary Medical Center. After testing, the neurologist at MVMC diagnosed a condition, that although serious, fortunately will heal completely on its own with meds and rest.Thank you, Dr. Ring, for your compassion and excellent assessment!

Dr. Ouellette had provided healthcare for my three Golden Retrievers and he was pragmatic but showed compassion when they had to be relieved of their pain. He is now caring for my girl Molly.There is no BS with Dr. Ouellette. He’s the best! The staff at Casco Bay are kind, knowledgeable and professional.
