Its like no employees work here. Nothing says THIRD WORLD like needing to pay to do my own scanning/bagging...the bag fee is just the icing on the cake. They did have everything i needed & the store is somehow nice & clean, though. Please hire actual check-out workers.

The pharmacy staff working today refused to honor my Covid vaccine appointment from the CVS on Congress Street that closed unexpectedly and did not notify us that they could not complete vaccine appointments for my wife and I (which we had to schedule ten days in advance). The checkout staff at the CVS on Congress sent us to this CVS and said they would honor the appointment. Got to this CVS and they said they never agreed to honor any appointments from another CVS and they were on lunch break anyway so they couldn’t vaccinate us. Now we have to wait another two weeks for a new appointment.

I'm sorry that they may be understaffed but this is the slowest pharmacy I've ever used. I've had a few scripts called in and over a week goes by with nothing being done.????.. I need my medicine asap? not 7days later. I also have my scripts mailed to me so then I have to wait even longer for them to mail it. If they could just get on top of things they'd be a good pharmacy.

Kayla in the pharmacy was super helpful and SO long-suffering in helping me get a prescription transferred from Colorado Springs to Portland! I was on the phone throughout the day with 3 different places (2 pharmacy and 1 MD), and Kayla was by far the kindest in helping me. I really appreciate her!

This location is very understaffed. The pharmacist is doing the best that he can but they’ve cut hours so severely it’s as if they’re trying to discourage people from coming here. Mission accomplished.

My daughter was having a medical emergency and they wouldn’t even let get use the bathroom. Didn’t even ask if she was ok and asked us to leave. I am still in shock at their lack of empathy. I hope this is one of the stores closing they deserve to lose their jobs.

Sorry- the operating business hours close at 6pm? How is a national chain, a pharmacy nonetheless, closing at 6pm? Apparently worker shortages are the reason. Hmm. How about offering reasonable compensation for prospective employees. Or maybe slightly reduce how much you are doling out to your overpaid CEO every year? Poor form, poor form indeed.

This pharmacy is grossly understaffed. If they weren’t, My review would probable be 5 stars. Staff is doing best they can.

Because my dog needs her medication to survive I always double-check that they have it in stock when going to fill her prescription. I was told they did have the medication and that I could wait or come back the next day to get it, and I opted to come back the next day. When I called back the next day before going to pick the medicine up I was told they had it on order and that it wouldn't be available until the following day. I called back the following day and the pharmacist was rude and cold to me and basically said she wouldn't know until the delivery came if they would have the medicine. I tried to be very polite and explain the importance of the medicine for my dog's survival and suggested if they thought they wouldn't be able to get it then I could get a new Rx and go to another place, but that time was of the essence as she was running out and would end up at the emergency vet without it. Again the pharmacist was rude and cold and told me to call back in the afternoon. For whatever reason I still thanked her and she said "yup". ICE COLD. Her tone was as if I was the worst person in the world. I really really was super polite! I'm not some terrible Karen that expects her to move heaven and earth- just don't want my dog to die. Usually the staff are very helpful and kind at the pharmacy- not sure who this lady is but WOW is she nasty. I would be completely understanding if she had just shown a shred of compassion, offered to double-check the order, or literally any other human response. I ended up having to have a new Rx written by my vet and on standby just in case. I will probably not go to this pharmacy again, not because they couldn't fill the med on time, but because of the serial-killer vibes I get from the pharmacist.
