This was the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. It was so good I had to leave a review. Like unbelievable, I was questioning how it was done.

Duckfat has always and will always knock it out of the park. It's out top place to visit when we're in Portland. For first timers...the restaurant is very small with communal tables so it is very likely that as a small group you will be seated with others. The outdoor dining was available and we had the perfect day for it. The fries are the obvious choice here, but spring for the poutine with a duck egg on top. You won't regret it. I'm a sucker for a Cuban on any menu but THIS one is literally the best I've ever had and that was even without the pickles (I have an allergy ?). Worth noting that instead of the typical ham in the sandwich, they exchanged it for soppresatta. While that's not a typical go to for me, I trust in anything they make and it went together SO well. I can't wait to make it back already and it's only been a week.Parking: There is a very small lot for the building if you're lucky to find a spot. We got there within 30 mins of opening and a few were still open. There is also street parking and a couple nearby garages. Portland is a great walking city anyways so find any lot in/near Old Port and you can pretty much walk everywhere you want to go.

This was a must after seeing it featured on Food Network. The poutine was excellent! Also enjoyed their specialty sodas. Highly recommend.

You go here for the fries, you get the fries, you enjoy the fries. It is a worthwhile trip to Portland after visiting Duckfat, which despite its small interior, provides a soothing (and flavorful) relief after travel. The service is exemplary, as each employee is truly friendly (and can provide their opinions on the sauces to dip your fries in).

Took a large order of the fries out to the Portland Head Light. They stayed crispy on the drive over, were wonderfully seasoned and the service was quick. Would definitely come back next time we're in town.

Food tasted alright but half way through the fries/poutine I developed a migraine. When I asked what kind of oil they were cooked in I was told it’s a gmo SOY mix! I find that extremely deceptive considering it say duck fat all over their menu, not to mention the total cost is over $20+ per plate of these soy fries.

Absolutely amazing! Food was super delicious. We had the green goddess salad, the Cubano sandwich, and the poutine. And to top it all off we gad their original milkshake that just puts a smile on your face. We will definitely be back!

Order a milkshake to go told it shouldn't be long 5 or so fast forward 35 minutes later still no shake. I can understand being busy, but how does someone who placed their order after me walk out with their order that included a shake before I even got my. Ended walking away & I'll be disputing the charge.

fantastic experience. staff is friendly, atmosphere is cozy, and the food is simply excellent. we ordered a large poutine with duck confit, and it was enough for two people to share and be full. plus it tastes amazing. and the donut holes with duck fat caramel sauce have multiple levels of flavor and are a great option for dessert. the food is a little bit pricey but the quality makes up for it in spades. this place is definitely a must try. I can't wait to go back another time and try some of the different menu options.

Excellent restaurant. Small, with a focus on what they do best. The fries are fantastic, recommend the poutine, although the roasted brussel sprouts were out of this world.Great service, friendly, very busy. Be prepared to wait, although they are very efficient and it's totally worth it.

Seriously stunning! Amazing food, lovely interior and passionate service, we couldn't ask for more! Everything in the menu looked good, many enhanced in some way by duck fat. Two of us shared a large Poutine with a duck egg on the side. Best I've ever had. We also ordered an original milkshake and an Arnold Palmer spritzer, both delicious, then to finish, shared a portion of their donut holes which were ridiculously good! $40 total before service. One of the best meals I've had in ages.Kid-friendliness: Lots of diners had young kids at dinner time. No problem, although all were well behaved.
