This suite we had for 1 night came with a great room layout and was convenient to Portland Maine's downtown. We were near the Jetport but did not really notice the sound from our room. A sleeper sofa, t.v. desk, and lamps with small kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave in 1 room, and the other room had 2 queen beds with closet, full mirror, large sink and of course a separate bathroom. Great layout with door partitioning off the 2 rooms. Great for a large family. Then came the problems and there were many! The remote for the t.v. is extremely sensitive and a little confusing to use. The actual bathroom with toilet and shower is a little small and had many grout discolorations?? The queen beds were very uncomfortable and actually made the sides of my legs ache a little as i'm a side sleeper. The pillows were just not right so i'm glad i brought my own from home. The dresser had the typical 3 drawers and the t.v sat on top of it. We didn't use the pull out sofa bed in the first room but i wish i had at least tried to use sofa for a bed. maybe my legs would not have ached so much. One last room item to note was that the heater made a pulsating noise that was really bothersome. Perhaps i wouldn't have been able to use it due to the heater noise. The breakfast was a little better than i expected in the variety of offerings but the taste of the pancakes, omelet made to order, and sugar free syrup was horrible!!! When we first arrived and saw the layout we were quite pleased. The front desk was nice enough as well. That being said, the room just had too many problems for us to come back and we were glad to only have stayed 1 night. As an update to this review we have been contacted by Hilton and they have made things right by us for the horrible night we had at their hotel. Thank you Hilton!

Outstanding service! I found myself in a horribly timed predicament and one of the representatives used his personal resources to help me out! WOW!!! Talk about going above and beyond! I am so grateful!

The staff were extremely friendly. We saw one guy cleaning almost every time we interacted with him. One guy never stopped moving and popped into all the areas. If he was needed or someone needed him he was there. Loved the cocktail reception snacks and drinks. Breakfast was exactly what I needed in our mornings. We are locals who lost power during the storm, but would stay on an off weekend where we needed to “get away” affordably. Great Staff and Management. Rooms were clean and inclusive of all the amenities.Rooms: The rooms had all the amenities and looked upscale.Nearby activities: Close to shopping and just an Uber away from Portland.Food & drinks: Exactly what you needed. Not too stuffy! Welcoming and traditional.Noteworthy details: Inclusive in holiday decorations. Hanukkah was included and there was a mailbox for letters to Santa.

My family got back from a 2-night stay, and it was really nice.I was researching a bit before booking and decided to choose embassy suites because of the many perks that they have to offer. I am writing this review to help people feel more reassured when booking it.We stayed in room number 201 on the second floor and paid $222 for 2 nights. It was cheaper not booking directly from the hotel fyi.The best parts about staying at this hotel:1. It is a pet friendly hotel if you need to travel with your pet.2. The room layout is amazing and there is plenty of space for everything you need.3. Their prices is very affordable, and it also includes breakfast.4. Their breakfast is amazing! from bagels, muffins, cereal, whole kind of fruit, vegetables, and spreads, to eggs and cook to order omelets on the spot. It reminded me of a cruise buffet where you have variety of food that you can eat. You can eat at their restaurant seats or bring your food up to the room. Plenty of drinks available as well.5. It is very close to the airport and to the main locations/attractions in town.6. The staff is really friendly and accommodating.7. Every evening from 5pm to 6:30 pm they have an evening reception where each guest can get 2 free alcohol drinks (we got a long island iced tea and cranberry juice with a shot of Vodka and it was REALLY good!) Our kids were able to get soft drinks. In addition, they provide snacks as fruits and cheese, crackers, salads etc. with plenty of places to sit and relax. The bartender was really nice as well!8. Their room is pretty clean, and I didn't smell any dog/pet smells.9. They have containers that are mounted to the wall with a nice amount of: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and hand lotions. They all smell great and seemed to work well on my hair. That is nice because you won't need to bring anything like that from home.10. If you are worried about filling your water bottles: A. They have hot/cold water dispenser in the gym and B. You can get water refilled from the soda machine during breakfast.11. Pool is open until 10 pm and plenty of hours to enjoy breakfast from 6:30-10ish I believe.A few things to note that were not the best but really not a big deal:1. The room was pretty clean but: A. Our toilet seat has some dust and hair on it. B. The bathtub walls had hair balls on it, the silicone around the bathtub looked old and rusty and seemed as it needed to be replaced. The conditioner container was empty which comes to show that they don't really focus on checking that is all 100% before a guest checks in.2. The room doors are pretty heavy and make loud noises when closed shut so it can be distracting if you are a light sleeper. In addition, some owners left their dog alone early morning, and the poor thing didn't stop barking and crying. It is a pet friendly hotel so you should take it in consideration. Also, you don't normally hear the planes, but might hear a few taking off.3. The pool is standard, nothing too fancy but our kids had a blast in it with the provided beach balls by the hotel.4. No hot tub, although many websites states that they have one. I called the hotel and that how I learned that while renovating the hotel, the hot tub was removed. This was a big deal for us, but we still decided to book it because of all the perks that this place has to offer. The "Disadvantages" were not too big for us so all in all, we had a great stay, we recommend it, and we would definitely want to come back here again!

Outstanding! You have friendly customer service received from every single staff member working there, the large, super spacious room, with all amenities & clean room, easy check-in process, 24/7 shuttle service to airport, zero noise while being so close to the airport. Will kept returning to this hotel every time I have to fly out of PWM.

The hotel’s staff is extremely welcoming and inviting. The hotel offers shuttle service and complimentary breakfast for travelers. I also enjoyed the happy hour. Overall, a great place to stay.Rooms: The suites were spacious and clean.Food & drinks: The breakfast was nice. I do not eat omelets but many of my colleagues were raving about the chef’s speciality.

Of all the Hotels I stay at during the year, I wish all of them were this particular one.The rooms were beyond expectation in comfort [Bed, Pillows, AC/Heat, etc.] as well as cleanliness. All staff were professional, efficient, and courteous. Enjoyed the evening mixer and the bartenders, especially Laura, were awesome! Thank you for a great two weeks!

A simple airport hotel with 3-star rooms (fine, but basic with a “builders grade” feel, as one would expect). But the staff elevated the experience by providing amazing 5-star service! They were extremely kind and helpful - they went above and beyond at several points during our stay. And the breakfast included was shockingly good - a cut above what one would expect at this level hotel. This breakfast included really good made-to-order omelettes and the best gluten free bagel we ever had (and we have spent a lot of time/money trying to find an edible one). I would definitely return.Noteworthy details: I hope the company appreciates and does what it has to to retain the employees at this hotel.

Hotel was walking distance to the airport, but also had a shuttle. Location is a short drive to downtown Portland while more affordable than downtown hotels. The provided breakfast was extensive and very good. Our stay was impacted by flight issues and Adam was tremendously helpful in helping us adjust our itinerary. We stayed twice in one week, and both rooms were top quality that appeared to have been renovated very recently. Beds were very comfortable m, and airport noise was not an issue. Absolutely, will stay here again!Rooms: Rooms were upgraded recently and were very clean and nice.Food & drinks: Provided breakfast was great and had many great options.

If you are claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend it. The bathroom feels like a small hallway and is super tight. I very much struggled and had to keep the door open all the time. The bedroom doesn’t have a door to shut and you have to walk through the sink/bathroom area to get from the sitting room to the bed rooms. Bed was fine but bedroom was tight. People and staff were great but I would not stay here again especially for the $400+ per night Breakfast was nice with omelet station but didn’t open till 6:30-9 so we only were able to eat it once because we had to catch an early flight.

We spent a 30th wedding anniversary in the New England area stayed in several different states. I am currently a diamond member and all of the hotels we stayed at upgraded us and gave us the best possible service except for this location. I used the app and did the self check in and chose my room. When I arrived I discovered my room had been changed and when I asked why the front desk agent told me the room that we have was bigger which was a complete lie. Before checking in I received an email from Rosemarie explaining the hotel and asking us to reach out if we had any issues. I responded to RoseMarie's email and ask why our room was changed who didn't even bother to respond. We went out to dinner and when we came back I noticed they do not disturb sign on the room we had originally chosen. This tells me the room is not out of order and that they pick and choose who they want to put in which rooms. If you're a diamond member and looking for a Hilton I don't recommend this hotel. The lies and poor service are enough for me to never want to stay here again. If they would have given me a simple explanation that the room was not available are the guests didn't check out I would have understood but instead I received the dishonest answer.
