When I received a cancer diagnosis it was a life altering event. When I found out that I could have started treatment years sooner, it was devastating.After contacting several attorneys and being turned away, Ben Gideon agreed to go to bat for me and my wife.It was a long three year battle and Ben never stopped fighting for us. Medical malpractice is a difficult issue to fight in the State of Maine.We can NEVER thank Gideon Asen enough for fighting for us and getting our case settled. Ben, Trevor Savage and Des are the people that we worked closet with. Along with these three, the entire staff has become family to us.Five stars is not enough for this entire firm!

I cannot praise the office staff and attorneys at Gideon Assen, LLC enough. Attorney Gideon took what we had for a malpractice suit and dug lots further. Additionally he brought in experts from around the state to do depositions. Our case was settled out of court with all the evidence Ben had, and it was much more than expected but deserving considering what happened. Our daughter will have a lot of care that she needs because of what the hospital did and did not do, as time goes on.Right when you enter the office, I cannot state how professional, friendly, comforting, trusting, and helpful they are. We felt like part of their group. They were constantly keeping in touch with us, giving us updates, etc.In all honesty, I would highly recommend using his team to help in whatever needs you have. He will get you the best outcome.

I am deeply appreciative of the team who represented me from Gideon Asen. Specifically, Taylor, Meryl, and Desiree were the three people with whom I worked most intimately with during the long, and often arduous process of bringing my childhood abuser to justice. In a legal system that often feels devoid of humanity or any inkling or interest in thoughtfully interacting with trauma survivors, the team from Gideon Asen were the buffer and the salve that made the process even remotely bearable.Throughout the process I felt that the team was fully committed to, and fully invested in a positive outcome for me (an outcome they let me define for myself). They were caring, and open to any feedback I had, and adjusted strategy as a direct result of my feedback. I fully felt like a team member, and never felt condescended during that journey. I cannot speak highly enough of this group of people - they are absolutely wonderful, and I am so greatful for all of their hard work and dedication to my case, and to me.
