Although you don't NEED to have ride on carts for disabled shoppers, it would be nice to have at least one that WORKS! Or at the very least a chair to sit and wait when and if you get working carts. I was offered a stool too high to get on.

I shopped at Home Depot yesterday, March 21, 2020 and was extremely disappointed in how careless the store is being about the covid-19 pandemic. I truly felt as if the management was literally trying to make sure people got sick while both shopping or working there. There were no cart wipes, no sanitizing of anything anywhere, no measures to ensure proper social distancing.

I ordered a refrigerator on Sept4th. Oct 3 I finally received a working, non damaged appliance. The “compensation” of $200 for the initial damaged fridge was nice but the next fridge didn’t work at all. We took a total of 16 hours of from work, rearranged furniture multiple times and food as well to be able to get the fridge in and out. Very unsatisfactory experience. $200 is not adequate compensation for the hassle that this was.

I am very impressed with Theresa in the service department. I called today without realizing that it was Black Friday, the busiest day in retail to ask if they could get a snowblower I had ordered there delivered from another store. I had to hang up after about 10 minutes due a dog related emergency. I was shocked when Theresa called me back and had worked it out to deliver tomorrow. When I said tomorrow I had to take a dog to the vet, she took a few more minutes and made it happen!!! To be honest, I rarely expect incredible customer service anymore. It was a total pleasure dealing with Theresa, and I have no doubt she was incredibly busy already. She was cheerful, efficient and effective and I will definitely be back

We bought our dishwasher from Home Depot they had Atlantic transport systems and go or main install it we've had nothing but trouble the dishwasher is one year old today and it's still falling out when you open the dishwasher and pull out the top rack Home Depot says it's out of their hands Atlantic transport hasn't done anything about it I called them at least 30 times over the year they say they'll call me back they never do they say they're going to send people out and they have not yet they ruined our cherry cabinets by drilling into it and crack in the wood along side of it no one wants to take responsibility for their workers actions. The actual GE dishwasher works great but when you open it and it starts to fall out because it's not screwed in properly. Home Depot needs to get on the ball and get Atlantic transport to do with they said or Home Depot needs to come out and take care of it this does not look well for them. Atlantic transport asked what can we do to get you off our back moneywise I told them $1200 they said no way they'll send somebody out we'll see

Out of all the Home Depot locations within the city and in close bordering cities/towns, this is my favorite location. It's not as busy as the others but is usually well stocked and the staff here are super friendly. I don't ever feel like I'm being bothered when I'm here, which is a plus (who likes it when you're clearly trying to get in and out and know what you're looking for but then 47 different employees come and try to talk to you? I don't!). But I also feel there are plenty of people available if I have a question and they are always happy to answer. I also like that they have a plethora of self check out lanes for people who are in a hurry and need to just scan a few things. What I don't like is that because of this they don't typically have a lot of lines open with cashiers, it's usually only 1. If you're buying a lot of items or something bulky, you shouldn't go through a self-check out line, it's sort of defeating the purpose of quick, no? The lines at the cashier often get backed up because of this, which can kind of be annoying, but definitely not a deal breaker. I will continue to frequent this location as it is the closest to my house and not as busy as other locations.

The key person did a great job on the one key and was nice but the other key doesn't work, bringing that back to get it re-done. The paint department people were nice - at first they came off brash and disregarding - they warmed up when they realized I knew what I was talking about. Thanks for being honest and helping.

Flooring department is disappointing. They are impossible to get in touch with, they ordered the wrong flooring and set my project back a month. They offered no compensation for my loss of time and money. I've been referred to the south Portland location, I hear that they are much more accommodating. Just wanted a simple install...now I have to start from scratch.
