I've been putting off doing this review as the experience was so unpleasant. I went here after the ice storm earlier this year. The assessment was done and the car was found to be a total loss. My insurance agent finally got there in person to confirm that. The final bill was not agreed on by the insurance company and looking at the items listed I tended to agree it was higher than it should be. I've been a car owner for the past 20 yrs with other experiences with car damage and haven't experienced such defensiveness and unprofessionalism when it came to communication (which was only by email) and haven't seen services being billed that don't make sense. In the end the insurance company had to pay the given bill to get the vehicle off the lot to avoid further lot fees. What they didn't feel was fair came out of my end, thereby leaving me with no car and a car loan balance left over that I shouldn't of had. I do believe in paying what is owed fairly and I don't feel it happened in this case. Also, what was weird, I had asked to be told when my deposit check would be ready for pickup and had to call for an updates as i had a feeling he wouldn't call me. I was told it was mailed out instead. I did receive it, but the envelope wasn't even sealed. Overall, work was done that didnt warrant the final balance and it was an unpleasant, difficult experience.

Dave understands the whole process very well and made sure the insurance company had my best interest in mind. If you're worried about the process, go to this shop. They're excellent.

Dave is as good as they come and has real skill. Has worked on several of my own and my customers cars over the years. Really can't ask for better work whether its cash or insurance work. Lucky to have him in the Portland area. You can trust him with anything you need from small touch ups, to large spray blends and matches.Services: Painting

Went to Pine Tree to get an estimate for minor work on a vehicle with 90,000 miles. I wanted to protect the vehicle from salt where it had been scattered and had a small dent.Dave walked out to the vehicle and gave me an estimate exactly what I requested. When he work was finished I could not find the damages anymore. He was less than half any previous estimate and the work was superbService: Body & Trim

I really can't recommend Dave and the folks at Pine Tree Auto Body enough. A few years back, I had a major repair on my brand new vehicle (a large tree branch fell on it), and they fixed my car in a timely fashion. Ever since, Dave has been willing to give me advice and quotes on more minor repairs, what they may cost, and what he recommends. Best service (and customer service) around!Services: Painting

Extremely honest people great shop! They gave me options at different price points and didn't try to charge me for anything I didn't 100% need. I would absolutely recommend Pine Tree Auto body to anyone looking for body work.

A great place to get your repairs done.Excellent body shop.He fights the insurance companies to get the job done correctly because insurance companies will cut corners and put inferior cheap parts on your vehicle and then blame the body shop.Get the job your policy states,go to Pine Tree Auto Body!

Dave is a perfectionist! He took his time to evaluate the damage to my car door, came up with a repair plan and stuck to it in the face of the insurance company’s foot dragging and misdirection. He is a professional I can trust with my car. My wife agrees, she had her car repaired twice at the pine tree Autobody. I highly recommend this business!
