Working with Isabelle was one of the easiest parts of our wedding process. When we first reached out to Shado of a Rose they responded quickly and we set up a video call to meet. They are the sort of people you just instantly like - very down to earth, generous with their time, but professional and have the portfolio to boot. We spoke at least once more to review our general vibe and photo list. As we were new to the process, they even provided example photo lists. As they had another wedding that weekend, Isabelle worked solo - I am sure Shado is wonderful as well but we didn't miss him! We had decided not to do separate first look photos or formal getting ready shots (apart from a few of the bride) as we wanted the first look to be at the ceremony. She captured everything so beautifully. Based on her photos, she somehow was everywhere at once. Her personality fit right in with our guests - many of whom mentioned how great she was afterwards - rather than standing on the sidelines or interrupting our friends having fun. We had been anxious as my brothers in law aren't keen on posed photos, but she made it as painless - and even fun - as possible. Just a few days later she sent our highlights - perfectly chosen! Followed by the full set 4 weeks later. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (at half the price of my sister's wedding earlier that year!). Though I don't expect we will have any big events in the near future, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Isabelle and Shado again.

My now husband and I are so happy we found Shado and Isabelle for our wedding. They are incredibly welcoming, thoughtful and caring in terms of considering how we wanted photographs to be taken/what we expected our wedding to look like. They definitely made sure to incorporate what we wanted into our wedding and were able to advise us whenever we had questions or when something they thought we should know (like uncontrollable weather) came up and what to keep in mind.Not only did they make us feel prepared for our photos but they were incredibly flexible and considerate on the day of the wedding. They certainly made our wedding day amazing while making our wedding look amazing! We cannot recommend them highly enough; if you (any/all couples) find you are a match you will not regret it!

Isa was amazing to work with! She communicated promptly, scheduled our shoot and arrived early. She brought a silly character hat to entertain and get our one year old to engage. We were so happy with the finished product and can’t wait to schedule another shoot for next holiday season! Thank you so much!

I loved working with them, and hopefully we will have a chance to do it again. I really like the level of communication prior to the shoot and that they suggested things for us to bring and asked if there was anything they could do to make the shoot easier for the kids

We had such a great experience with Isabelle for our newborn photo session! She was easy to communicate with and book, and great to work with for photos. You can tell she has had a lot of experience photographing newborns and family photos, she was very professional. She had a lot of great ideas for photos, and was also open to some ideas that we had. All of our pictures came out beautiful and were back to us within a few days of our photo session. Highly recommend!

Shado was better than anything we could have hoped for! Not only did he give us over 500 beautiful pictures that captured the silliness, love, and joy of our special day, (and get us a preview of over 50 within a few days!) but he was such a joy to have at the wedding. He made everything that required gathering people really stress-free yet quick so that even though we had a pretty long list of shots to get, we were still able to enjoy most of our cocktail hour.The editing of our photos is sublime. For such a cool gloomy day, the photos have an incredible warmth. We're obsessed.10/10!

Best. Photographers. Ever. Isa and Shado far exceeded our expectations. We opted for their highest package, which included them for the entire wedding day and an engagement session as well. I’m so glad we were able to meet them for our engagement session, I felt like we clicked right away and it was so nice to break the ice. We kept in contact them leading up to the wedding, which was reassuring. Their communication was great. They really took our vision for our special day and blew our minds. We still get so many compliments on them, Isa and Shado really are amazing! I can’t recommend them enough. Photos were delivered on time, there was no miscommunication about that. I swear I still look at our photos everyday, I wish I could relive it in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for truly genuine and fun people to have on your special day, these are your people!

Isabelle and Shado are tremendously talented on top of being lovely human beings. Their images capture humanity, beauty and personality. We have worked with Isabelle for over six years for family photo sessions and my house is proudly full of framed images that she captured. Isabelle puts my children at ease, connects with them, jokes with them, and therefore manages to have their personalities shining through in each image. On top of being amazing at what they do, Isabelle and Shado are dedicated professionals who are committed, reliable, punctual and so easy to work with. Working with them is truly a pleasure and we will continue to be loyal clients for many years to come. I cannot recommend them more highly!

I reached out to Shado Of A Rose Photography for a Bridal's Bestie shoot during my friend's Bachelorette weekend. Isabelle (the photographer) was amazing from start to finish! Starting with booking the shoot; she was super accommodating and easy to communicate with! The energy and vibe of the shoot was spot on; with a group of 9 ladies with different personalities, Isabelle was able to capture our excitement of the day and give us directions that were easy to follow which resulted in fabulous photos that we will treasure from the weekend!
