The Art Mart is a favorite local art store in Portland. It is not huge but houses a huge variety and amazing selection of high-quality art supplies, including paints, panels, and brushes. It is a family-run store with kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. Prices are great and fair. The store offers unique touches like hand-drawn designs on gift cards. If they do not have an item, they can get it. It is considered the best art store and a must-stop for artists, with a convenient location that makes shopping local a pleasure.
Had to stop in for a specific pen, .003 to be exact, which can be difficult to find. Luckily there was a pack with what I needed. Super happy to find it. Service was great.

The employees here are really nice! They have a great selection of art supplies. Some really nice high-end choices and it seems like they offer everything you would be looking for. They did not have exactly the item I wanted, but I easily found a replacement here.

The best kind of art store: packed with all the paper and mediums you could want. The guy working the counter was welcoming and helpful. Prices were super reasonable. Perfect place to pick up a few things I forgot to pack and needed to document my trip. 💕
