Super cute restaurant and good service staff, everyone is very friendly. The food had potential for sure but only tasted average.Aged beef skewers didn’t taste like much, fried chicken wings were small but good, scallops were ok but definitely pricey, and the pad see ew were uneven in thickness so it was cooked unevenly (also too salty).Definitely cute vibes for a date night though

I had seared scallops, which were tasty, but a little greasy. However, the small size for $24! (see photo) was a joke and did not reflect the photos of dishes on this side!

Great vibes, insane khao soi, wonderful pad kee mao, and really good cocktails. Don't miss out on the soft serve!

Had the Rare Beef Salad, Pad Kee Mao and Khao Soi — much enjoyed their house made noodles for those dishes!

Mediocre modern take on traditional Asian fare. The mapo dofu was basically just a so-so spicy red curry, with no “Ma”, just “La” (so no Sichuan peppercorns). Kimchi was also very salty, with little actual flavor. Kitchen was unable to accommodate a request to deliver a side of stir fry vegetables at the same time as mains. I appreciate what this restaurant is trying to do, the staff were friendly, there may be better dishes on the menu, but my impression is that they are making up for fundamentals with show & a trendy dining room. I like good food. I will not visit this restaurant again.

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and delicious food the potion doesn’t reflect the premium, however. If food portion was 30% more, it would be 5-star.The lobster toast is a must have but 3 small bites is $17 or $22 with governments tax , restaurant appreciation tax and tip

So, I’ll start by saying, their actual restaurant is very cramped, so with as popular as it is, expect to be packed in tightly. This is a minor issue unless, like us, you’re trying to go with your toddler. Not the restaurant’s fault though. Now to the food. I LOVED their tofu bahn mi. It was the best bahn mi I’ve ever had and I used to live in a “little Vietnam” neighborhood before I came to Maine. We live outside of Portland proper and whenever I was in the area, their tofu bahn mi was always the number one thing I wanted to order from anywhere in Portland for takeout.I’m SO sad they took it off the menu. I asked them about it and they basically just told me that it isn’t coming back but the rest of the menu is good. I’ve tried several other things on their menu by now. They were all good, but none of it is to my liking as much as their tofu bahn mi, so I’ve stopped going to honeypaw.Honeypaw, pleeease bring back your tofu bahn mi!

Loved everything about the Honey Paw. Cane with my sister. Had the Mushroom Hokkaido Ramen, the broth was A+. She had the Mapo Doufu which was awesome. Grilled veg, pickled veg and fried bread for apps. Ate like royalty. Will be back many times.
