“I love this cute fancy clothing store. The prices are a bit higher than material objectives. But it has uniqueness. The fitting rooms are separated only by thin linen. I recommend shopping here.”

“I have never been into a store so cute and affordably priced and well taken care of in my life. A perfect balance of beautifully displayed and organized thrift clothing, upcycled clothing, and artist made pieces.

Ferdinand is in a whole different league than musty thrift shops where everything is jammed together and you need to commit to a hunt and feel like you need to wash your hands after. Even my mom who has a nearly allergic reaction to other thrift stores was happily browsing and left with a new coat.”

“I have been shopping here for 10 years - it is the best store hands down and I feel so lucky that it is right here in Portland. The buyer has impeccable taste and the selection is insanely good, the best brands at prices you;ll never be mad at. Clare V, Emerson Fry, The Great, Ulla Johnson, Mother, Jenni Kayne, I could go on and on. I truly couldn't love this store and insanely helpful and stylish women that work there more.”

“This shop is so cute, I love it! There's a great selection of gently used clothes/toys, as well as new items that are organic/sustainably made. I've picked up several baby shower gifts from here, as well as pieces for my own kiddo. It's definitely one of my favorite stores in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!”

“The food is frankly phenomenal - it's themed around delicious Cajun fare, but your traditional bar staples (*cough* try the fries *cough*) are also absurdly good.

The cosy atmosphere is reminiscent of Cheers, there is frequent live music, and the best part is that (outside of live performances) they don't blast the music! You can hear yourself think and have a conversation without yelling, a rarity these days.

Bonus points because all their stools/chairs solidly touch ground with all four legs, so no wobbling all night because you got the dud seat.

Gardens outside for those who are into plants, and an eclectic consignment store right next door for that good wandering.

Haven't tried the breakfast/brunch menu yet, but excited to go back for that.”

“This place has so many fun, curated gifts. I picked up these dessert utensils for my toddler as he transitions to adult utensils and they’re stunning. He actually enjoys using them. $16 each and totally worth it!

There are so many fabulous things but the store is tight so strollers are tough getting through.”

“Nice selection and quantity of items. Well organized and reasonable prices. Dressing rooms are currently available. I appreciate the store being spread out enough that the isles aren’t super narrow and it’s easy to get by without getting claustrophobic. Employees are friendly. A good place to stop and check out when traveling through Portland.”
