“I’ve been coming here for years, but most of all really enjoy Dr. Kate Ferrell. She has been a breath of fresh air since having bad experiences at other practices. Not only does she take the time to answer my questions, she goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is in the best of health. I have a highly reactive large dog that does not like the vet. Dr. Ferrell and her team make sure to make us as comfortable as possible and do their best to make sure Harlee knows she is not being threatened. “This place is wonderful! I had a parrot emergency last week. I could find no local vet to help. (including one who I am a client of ). I called YVC ; they didn’t know me at all, but they graciously arranged for the birds to be seen between scheduled visits 2 days hence. They treated me like a long-time client, took care of the birds, and gave me a discount because I am a rescue! I have operated Siesta Sanctuary for parrots in Harmony, Me, 2 hours north of Yarmouth since 1999. Finding veterinary help anywhere near has been an eternal problem. I was so surprised at the warm welcome I received here from my initial phone call to my day at the facility. Dr. Peter Smith and all his staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating.
