Aroostook Agency on Aging is one of Maine's five agencies on aging, covering all of northern Maine from Danforth to Allagash. Our Agency is the most trusted resource to help older adults age independently and achieve their fullest potential. We bring 50 years of experience to this work and offer compassion, knowledge, and unbiased recommendations to older adults, caregivers, and providers. Warm and welcoming. Very family friendly and supportive agency for our older community members. Really impressed with how they meet they're clients where they are and help others receive and connect with services all over Maine.

if you need help in order to be able to stay in your home the Agency will try to find you a Caregiver/PSS worker to help you with the things you are not able to do your self anymore.
