I've deleted the review - just out to communicate - not out to negatively impact a business - this experience happened quite a while ago & it's possible there is entirely new owner / management - please consider it a chance to learn what not to do to loyal customers - this was before most people were online to the extent they are now - I certainly wasn't online - phone & mail was all I had - but, still - even now , many people are not tech savvy and/or have no access for various reasons - it's tough enough dealing with blizzards, snow & ice driving etc - and just the grind of workaday life - people definitely don't need an antagonistic banking experience - please remember just exactly who's money it is & act accordingly - people can go elsewhere if they aren't treated properly ...
Sadly, I no longer live in the safe, clean & beautiful State of Maine - the people who do live there are blessed - best state in America ... ?”

“Leslie was great she took care of both my wife And I in a timely and professional manner.We are veryhappy with the bank so far .Got our ATM cards and Checks within a week as promised..There onlinebanking was a breeze and like the format.We deposited our first checks and they did put a hold onthem for a few days but Leslie did call to explain which was very helpful.She said this happens withnew accounts and they do this for the first thirty days which makes sense.Overall good experienceto this point and would highly recommend this bank as they seem to have the service with all thebells and whistles, plan on doing some business banking and other things in the future.Thanks and Peace Jeff D and Delia L..”

“There is just something about Machias that is warm and welcoming. Everything from the staff too the environment is inviting. Plus the fact that they can create debit cards on site is a nice bonus!”

“I've been banking here for over 25 years All in all I like the credit union in general however the presque Isle branch is definitely my least favorite. It doesn't have that small town feel that everyone member is a part owner of the credit union I have often felt more like a number and put definitely rather go to any other branch but all in all I still value their service and if I had a choice to bank here at the credit union or a different standard bank I would definitely choose the county”
