Books, Lines and Thinkers is a fantastic and wonderful little bookstore on Main Street. It is a small, quaint, and cozy store, crammed packed with a surprising and amazing variety of inventory. Shelves and boxes hold a decent selection of new books, used books, classic kids books, poetry, new releases, popular thrillers, cookbooks, romance novels, and more, with no strict rhyme or reason to the shelving. The store also sells tons of beautiful art prints and work by local artists, and sometimes has signed copies from local authors. The owner is a delightful and very nice man with astonishing knowledge, who provides kind, helpful, and great recommendations. He can likely order specific books if they are not in stock. It is a clean store with artfully placed chairs, perfect for ducking into during a rainy or snowy day. While there is no dedicated parking lot, only street parking, this is a highly recommended place to stop for a last-minute vacation book or simply to browse.

we’ve consistently had good luck with books here, even a few years ago when someone in my family had an ultra specific request that they were able to order! the used room has something for everyone, and the owners are the kindest people!

Small store with limited selection. Very kind owners. A quaint spot to spend an hour on a rainy day in Rangeley!
