Over the past 10 years the dinning experience has varied depending on the chef & how busy it is. Last night was relatively quiet although the private dining room was full. The 2 waitresses were efficient and had things in control despite the backup in the kitchen. The menu is somewhat limited but offers some variety The rack of lamb was delicious as was the halibut entree. The pork dumplings were fried & were below expectations. the summer salad was good but had too much lettuce & too little other vegetables Finally the most popular dessert choices were not available Despite the above, dinner was a pleasant experience

This place is WONDERFUL. The atmosphere and food are fantastic. Our server, Lisa, was so kind and attentive. She offered suggestions on what we could do while in town, my husband and I highly recommend this cozy romantic spot!

One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. So intimate and relaxing for my wife and I. The food was outstanding. Probably the best food in the Rangeley lakes area. The bar area was very nice. Bartender was great. You won't go wrong coming here.

Delicious as always. Always worth a stop when we visit Rangely. The rack of lamb and the filet mignon were excellent.

We had a very nice meal. Service was great! The only reason I rated the food a 4 is that we had to send part of the meal back to be warmed as it was cold. Otherwise and very delicious, enjoyable dinner.

Our favorite place to eat in Rangeley. The staff is so welcoming. It's such an enjoyable evening watching the sunset over the lake and having a relaxing dinner.

The food and service were outstanding. The view and restaurant were gorgeous. The people next to us were obnoxious- but that's not the restaurant's fault. That's our second dinner there this month and we love and would recommend Loon Lodge!

The shrimp on the salad was slightly undercooked, a little mushy. Well, the chicken on the salad was lukewarm cold like it had been taken out of the fridge and cut up and just put on the salad. In other words, not freshly grilled and not fresh chicken. The serving size on the mushroom dish Was very small. The service was slow, and we couldn't get our second round of drinks because the waitress wasn't around. Also, someone who appeared to be like an owner kept walking through the dining room with a spray bottle of cleaning fluid and a rag in jeans shorts and a tank top kind of messed with the ambience.

Dining at Loon Lodge is a unique treat, starting with the beautiful rustic decor and lovely view of Rangeley Lake. Amazing truffle fries and tasty mains of grilled portobello with polenta and mahi mahi. Terrific cocktails and excellent lemon ricotta cheesecake. Our server Erica was terrific-attentive and professional.

We had an awesome first time there for dinner. The crab cakes and halibut were delicious. The service was great. I definitely recommend trying this place!
