Great place but BAR TENDER wish I had his name is a wicked jersey I took my son on his birthday for a drink and we got our first drink but that was it.IGNORED BY HIM TALKING WITH BIG TIPPERS I GUESS WAS GONNA ORDER LUNCH UPSTAIRS BUT COULD NOT GET BAR TENDER AND PURPOSELY CAUSE HE KNEW WE WERE WAITING JUST DIDNT CARE.SERIOUS NEED SECRET SHOPPERS TO WEED OUT THE BAD.GREAT SKIING BEEN SKIING SINCE THE EARLY 80S.WAITED FOR THEM TO REOPEN N LOVE SADDLEBACK BUT THST BAR TENDER WAS UNREAL

Such a beautiful mountain in a beautiful and peaceful part of the country. You'd be hard pressed to find a day-ending lift line or shortage of powder. If you like riding glades this is the place for you. Fast lifts and great employees. Very relaxed atmosphere and one of the better terrain parks ok the east coast! They have a nice halfpipe and beginner park too. You may even see some wildlife while you visit. I wish they had more vegan food options though.

The hike was phenomenal. We walked the service roads to just below the summit. Didn’t make it to the Appalachian mountain trail this time. The gray ghost hiking trail is more strenuous. We’re pushing 70 and we’re from flatland country so we avoided most of this trail. Awesome view, highly recommended.

Nice trails. Edited to add: numerous bike trails until the snow flies! Good food at the restaurant and pub. Check out the Nest at the mid mountain Lodge. Good food, great music, super fantastic waitstaff!

Hill climb 2024 provided snow/rain in the morning and lots of sun in the afternoon. Saddleback Mountain was a great location for this event. Shuttle drivers offered transportation to and from the event. Chairlift rides were senic and provided an advantage point of view of the races and trail.
