Great meal, checked out the other local restaurants and it was hands down the best food at the best price. Wanted better than bar food, but not a 50 dollar ribeye either.Brisket was unbelievable, great beer selection, family run.

Our family decided to eat at this restaurant after a day of skiing and pond hockey. The vibe of the restaurant was nice and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We were looking forward to having a tasty meal but were disappointed when several other tables that arrived after us recieved their orders immediately while we were left waiting. After waiting 90 minutes (along with another large table that arrived after us), we asked about our order and the waitress said the order “got lost” and that the cooks never received it. After reading other reviews about this restaurant, I realize this type of poor service is standard for this restaurant - particularly for visitors. Don’t waste your time or money here! There are many other restaurants in town that will serve both good food and service. This was a horrible experience all-around and a lousy way to spend a vacation meal.

BBQ is alright and very overpriced. I understand most all BBQ is expensive but there was no reason for this food to be so expensive at the quality it was. Even the sides that aren't BBQ were very expensive. Table was sticky and unclean. The bartender is the server and there seems to be only one person working in the kitchen so service was sub par. The corn bread was probably my least favorite thing on the menu that we ordered. I love some good cornbread whenever I get BBQ and this was not even cornbread. It was literally just a piece of bread that most restaurants offer for free. It had no flavor and seemed like a mix of homemade bread mix and white cake/cupcake mix. For $7 for a little piece of "cornbread" I atleast expected there to be corn in it.

Cool atmosphere but slow service, poutine was cold, got wrong order, buns were crispy burned for hamburgers, the brisket was good but only two thin slices for $23. Will not be returning.

Arrived on a Tuesday night around 5:30. No greeting upon entering. Sat at bar planned on ordering food and drinks . Ordered drinks that were overpriced and underwhelming. Bartender/waitress was very off putting. Never asked us if we were going to eat. Menu was very boring, we decided between the rude service and lack of menu to pay and leave. We asked for check it took her 15 min to get back to us. Will never return, nor recommend. Drove just down the rd to Sarge's and it was a completely opposite experience.

We got out of work and back to our cabin and ordered the brisket meal a couple of them for me and the boys . Well let's just say hour and a half later and 3 trips to rhe restaurant the food never come out and we had to cancel the order. They didn't seem to care they told us to come back 2 time and made no effort to offer anything int it's place.

We had lunch today at The Shed. My aunt and I had the brisket sandwich and one of my cousins had the pulled pork sandwich and the other the “plain” burger. The brisket was served on a brioche bun with cold slaw and fries. It was juicy and very tender and the sauce was delicious. My aunt and I agreed it was very good. The fries were perfectly done. My cousins thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The waitress was very friendly and the food was served in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend The Shed.

Good food and service. We sat on the patio which was pleasant. The fried pickles and poutine were delicious, brisket was good, my Husband and Dad enjoyed a burger and ribs. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Food and atmosphere at the time were much better than anticipated, as this is a small place, and is primarily a bar. We don't particularly like loud noisy pubs, but I guess we picked the perfect time for us to come - only a few other customers were there at the time. They don't have a ton of choices, but, it's Barbecue fare, and they smoke it themselves. The barbecue was quite good here.Vegetarian options: No real vegetarian options. Go elsewhere like Parkside and Main or Furbish Brewhouse, or Oquossoc Grocery for better vegetarian options.Parking: It's rangeley, and we were there in "the off season" -- for snowmobiling. Parking is never a problem in the winter in Rangeley.
