Shannon is an amazing human who loves the animals she cares for more than the humans we call friends. You'd be well served to have Hello Doggie care for your fur babies.

Shannon is a wonderful person who took wonderful care of my dog. We had to switch daycares simply because we needed longer office hours. It's a real shame that other local business owners (who also own a doggie daycare) are trying so hard to get her shut down, harass her, make her pay fines, etc... I hope this business is able to stay open. I hope the community reads this and supports her.

Staff are kind and welcoming! They keep me informed about how my pup is interacting with others as she learns and grows. My puppy absolutely loves coming here and hanging out with her friends and she returns home happy and tired.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Picked up my dog on Friday, had asked them to do a nail trimming. They almost cut one nail off And there was blood everywhere on his paw. No explanation was given. My dog was acting funny and fell asleep for 10 hours after I picked him up. When we arrived back at my house, he had a pronounced limp. Only then did I notice that there were two deep puncture wounds on his leg. After an emergency vet visit, We found that he had been bitten by another dog, with a messed up knee. Upon calling this daycare, was not refunded for the remaining 3 days I have, and the owner was mentally unstable and argumentative. She claimed there was a no refund policy, despite how there was nothing listed or that I signed that stated this. Everything you read about this place is true. Do not send your dogs here.

My Ella absolutely loved attending Hello Doggie Daycare. In fact she looked forward to going. Back in November 2021 when we found out that the Raymond location had to close, the owners asked their clients to, in good faith, pay for packages in advance so they could keep their business running. I immediately paid for a $250 package upfront hoping for our Ella to return. Unfortunately circumstances beyond our control made it so that we could not take Ella back to daycare. We fully intended to, we sent emails back-and-forth asking for what we needed to send her back, because we absolutely loved this daycare. When we realized that we could not send her back I respectfully asked for a refund. I understand they have a refund policy, and I understand they have a business to run, however I was really hoping that they would see to refund our money. They did not because emails we had sent saying we did intend to send her back was the reason we would not get a refund as they were confused. I understand, I really do, but I really hoped for a different outcome as situations beyond our control can change. My advice would be to anyone in any situation, for any business, do not pay for anything upfront. I truly wish this business to be successful but because of my latest experience I’m only giving him a three star rating, and wish them all the best.

My pup has been going here since he was 3 months old (now 1 year old). Have never had any problems, much prefer this model of uncaged playtime to being confiscated in kennels and kennel runs. He is worn out each day he comes home and happy to get out of the truck to go there also. Shannon and her staff do a great job Boarding is offered as well.

PLEASED TO UPDATE- this poorly managed business moved out of our community in fall 2021. The location is now home to a new very clean professionally managed facility with full services including grooming, day care, and boarding!FOLLOW-UP @ HELLO DOGGIE DAYCARE in ME! After the insane levels of drama, the owner's bizarre dishonest behavior, and her refusal to refund $250 of advance payments for services never rendered, we sent a Demand Letter allowing opportunity to *do the right thing. Her response was 6 pg signed letter of more ranting, threats, and lies; all easily proven untrue by indisputable official records. To the employees - Honesty and ethics matter 110% of the time. To the owner's friends & family who *report* negative reviews trying to stop truth & then post platitudes about dogs liking to play together - Sadly you are enabling the negative rages to continue along with increasing potential for serious harm! PS - This is not about the money but about truth exposing the wrongs & harmful business practices in our community.*ORIGINAL POST* ATTENTION HEARING IMPAIRED - OWNER DISHONEST & HAS ISSUES WITH YOU! Facility is often unclean with extreme health risk to the dogs (kennel cough etc) and understaffed due to chronic high employee turnover. Obvious result is a very poorly run business. After a particularly troublesome experience with staff asking repeatedly for payment because they could not find our advance payment on their books, owner Shannon came running up to the counter shrieking and raging ... .I AM THE OWNER repeatedly and making rude comments because I could NOT clearly hear her employees talking from the other side of the room (I AM HEARING IMPAIRED and had announced that up front to all so we could communicate properly). Shannon's unstable behavior was shocking. I went to the car for the receipt and called work to let them know I would be late because of weird drama - Back inside and she was still raging. I have never seen anyone at any type of business behave so unhinged - It was totally bizarre! I repeatedly asked her to STOP and just look at the payment receipt in my hand but she kept raging. ( “Oh your husband is nice but you are not.” “If YOU are in a hurry to get back to work, that is YOUR problem not mine.” “YOU need to be patient – I AM training new employees!” “IF YOU are hearing impaired YOU need to tell people that in advance.” ) This was the first time I met Shannon - Her previous staff were ALL courteous and behaved normally. I had enough - She found proof of payment on her books and I *immediately asked for a refund*. *She replied she would issue a refund*. I went outside and called my husband in tears and told him what had happened – He called Shannon to let her know we were disgusted and NOT sure about ever bringing our dog back to her facility. To be blunt, we expected the full refund and seriously did not want our dog in her care again. Well the refund was never issued! We called to find out if the credit was still on their books, we were told there would be no refund because we did not bring our dog for visits & refund had lapsed?!?!?! [We did not bring our dog in because 1) We asked for REFUND on 6/9/21 & owner agreed to refund 2) Unable to follow-up immediately - out of town funeral for my father 3) Upon return to town the facility sent out notices of kennel cough infections! ] During that follow-up call, my husband had to ask repeatedly to speak to directly to Shannon, who was refusing to come to the phone. When she did finally come to the phone, she admitted there were 10 paid days on the books, was nice and apologized. Said she wanted to build a *better working relationship*, and asked my husband to stop by. He stopped by to discuss a proposed resolution & to get Emmi into the excellent dog groomer next door. Surprise - Shannon told him that he owed MORE money & order him out of her business. VERY alarming! One star required to post but honestly - facility and owner get a ZERO. Photos: Emmi &am

Shannon and her staff love my dog almost as much as I do, and they care for him like he’s their own. Also, we did puppy class with Shannon last summer and it made such a difference in his (our) behavior!

Athena our black lab LOVES Shannon! Every morning she perks up when I ask her if she "wants to go see her friends". We're very happy to have a place where she can socialize (she's the social butterfly of the family) and exercise, especially in the winter when it's so cold and icy outside to go for a walk. We really appreciate you all.And no, she didn't pay me to say this. It's baffling to see people leave bitter reviews and come back to edit them several times. Who has the time for that?! May I suggest some books to read instead? Idle minds are the devil's workshop indeed.

Absolutely cannot recommend this business for doggie day care and strongly caution people who care about the well-being of their pet to do some serious research. We found the facility to be unclean, the management to be far less than honest, and the care given to many of the dogs in her care deplorable to the point of being dangerous. Tours of the facility were not allowed and we later found out why. The owner was actually forced to close for quite some time due to some very serious problems and is no longer in the town of Raymond. We learned the hard way to ask for facility tours, ignore what the owner's friends say, and obtain professional recommendations from people who have worked for the owner and have seen first-hand what goes on behind the scenes! Our fur-kids are family and deserve safe quality care.

Shannon. Not sure why anyone would continue to respond to a certain disgruntled client. Life is too short and your business much to too successful to waste your time with her.To all of you folks out there listening. Hello Doggie has been watching (both boarding and daycare) my 5 year old lab since he was a puppy. They have always taken the best care of him. He goes nuts with excitement every time I turn into the lot. Thanks to Shannon and her staff for all you do for the mutts in your care.Jack McGintee
