I called in desperation a month or so ago asking if I could have two cord before the first of May. I would be having a hip replacement (two weeks ago now) and a friend from out of state coming for a short time to stack it for me. Gilpatrick and Son's delivered the wood for me yesterday. I am so very grateful!!

It was kind of expensive for rough cut lumber, but over all really nice and helpful. Price is my only complaint, I got finished boards for the same price last week at HD. Didn't mind as much though, since it's local.

My daughter purchased a cord of firewood for us from them and my husband immediately stacked on the porch well a week later it was covered in mold

Maybe he has good firewood, maybe not. Called to order seasoned firewood, was told “I only have 110 cord of dry wood. Unless you have ordered wood from me in the past two years, I’m not selling you a stick.” With that being said I wouldn’t buy a cord of solid gold bars for a penny from this outfit.
