“Jonathan did an amazing feat with a Japanese print that I inherited. I was heartbroken when it fell from the wall. But he used Japanese framing techniques to piece it back together, I am thankful for his artistry and sensitivity.”
“Love to see a co-op gallery, and this one has some really good pieces too, including some cool woodworking items!
Had a lovely time there during one of the art walks-thank you !”
“Such a fantastic local resource. Not only do they have fantastic exhibits, but they have loads of community activities, workshops and a wonderful makers lab for both adults and children. Great for visitors to Rockland but an even better resource for local residents!
Local residents can get a free membership and can make use of their makers lab whenever its open and not being used by one of the wonderful workshops being taught. They have monthly adult workshops being led by guest artists - these do carry a nominal fee (sliding scale of $5-$15) to pay the artist leading the workshops, but they also have tons of free workshops that you can attend.”
“Dominique Otsuni’s exhibit was my favorite, pretty cool space and had some wonderful paintings as well. Some of the artist’s works that were displayed just weren’t for me.”
“The way this gallery is curated is amazing. Sculptures and paintings similarly themed are display in proximity with a lovely corresponding poem on the wall in such a manner that the very display of art becomes an art in itself. Harbor Square offers an art immersion within its walls, and is masterfully put together.”
