“Black Parrot is shop with unique and interesting stuff. My wife and I were in Rockland last week. The Black Parrot's display window beckoned us to come inside. My wife purchased a beautiful, handwoven, multicolored, shetland wool blanket. I purchased a beautiful, multicolored pair of socks. Guess whose purchase cost more. Both items promptly arrived yesterday via USPS at our San Francisco house. We are very pleased with our purchases. Here is a picture of the blanket draped over my rocking chair.”

“The Grasshopper had a little something for everyone. It's definitely a Go To store for us Midcoasters. I like the variety from cards and gifts to toys and kitchen. As to that women's shoes and clothing. The store is well laid out and curated.”
