Apple Cinemas Saco IMAX is a movie theater with an IMAX screen near Portland. The setup is like big AMC theaters, with clean facilities, cushy power recliner seats, and plenty of room between aisles. Reserving a ticket online and printing it at the counter is easy, and seats can be bought in advance. Food and drinks can be preordered from the concession stand online, and the attached pizzeria allows for a quick bite before or after the show. Transactions are easy. The volume is very loud, which some find a bit too loud or distracting, but it prevents nodding off. Seats are generally comfortable, though sometimes a ticketed seat can be unusable. The theater is often clean and staff clean up after movies, but the carpets can have leftover popcorn and the men's bathroom can be a mess. There is sufficient parking for both the theater and pizzeria. It is a recommended movie complex.

Love this place!! But... Theater #11 is not posted, so if you're not familiar with this IMAX it can be confusing as to where it is. Sit in the middle because speakers are loud. 16 oz bottle water was $ 6.50 (ouch).
