was in the store this morning with my brother. Went to the deli, and saw some hotdogs we'd like. I asked if they were all beef and she didn't know. She decided to yell down the other end of the deli to another employee, who said he didn't hear a word she said. She decides to be reply very rudely, ya I didn't think so. Another lady, who I would assume was the deli manager showed up and the employee asked her if they were all beef. She says no, and I said as long as it's not mechanically separated meats I'd like some. The manager proceeds to tell me that all hotdogs are made with mechanically separated meat. That is absolutely not true. So, the manager and employee decide it was time to get ignorant and rude and argue with us. At one point the employee decided to make a face at us as they were telling another employee what happened. Two of the rudest employees we've ever encountered I'm a grocery store. We will never step foot inside another Shaws just because of that encounter. Hopefully the store manager we talked to actually keeps his word and takes care of the attitudes. Definitely wouldn't recommend this store.

Remember this morning going to get my shopping done at 8:15 with no crowds ! Thank you for opening your store a couple of hours for the elderly ! It was one of my best experiences ! People were human greeting each other ,helping each other ,every one I bumped into had a smile it was just so heart lifting ! The staff was helpful also with a smile ! Thank’s to all of you for making my shopping experience at such-a time where we’re all struggling with what’s going on today in our turned upside world!

Every time my family shops at Shaw's in Saco (very rare since they're expensive), there's hardly ever any staff present to assist you around the store or to bag your groceries. I made the mistake of using the self checkout one time and the staff member that came over to resolve an issue with the machine was very rude. Today, I saw an elderly lady bagging her own groceries, which I think is totally unacceptable. Maybe they'd have more staff if they didn't take *3 months* to call applicants to see if they were still interested in a job. Yikes!

I find the staff at Shaw’s very helpful and I love their rewards. The cashiers are great...if Michelle is working I make sure to go to her line!

I have seen the staff do everything in their power to accommodate customers. Remember, much of how the store operates is not due to the associates actions or decisions.

Customer service needs to be addressed!! When using the new self checkout today, I was told in an extremely rude manner to go stand and wait in another long line after the machine would not accept the employee badge. TWICE. Had she handled the situation politely, the store would not have lost a DAILY customer. I will never set foot in that store again!

I have been a regular Shaw's customer. However I was disappointed to hear that last night the Saco store manager (Bethany) escalated an incident after a customer asked for more information about a policy. As a store manager, it is absolutely her JOB to respond professionally to questions and complaints. Appalled to learn about what happened at their Saco ME location with a particular manager named Becky who treated two customers rudely and eventually banned them from the store and called the police over their inquiry of whether they needed to both produce ID’s. She also called the police when the customers father returned to dispute the situation as well. I’ve shopped here in the past and my wife was never carded alongside myself and I’m sure if she was and we inquired about why, we would not have the police called on us unless our skin was the right color for that type of action

I dont really have an opinion perse. I'm just making it a point to never shop a shaws again. Im disgusted with their management techniques...or lack thereof.
