The Craignair Inn by the Sea is a true gem and charming historic hotel, offering a peaceful, quiet, and soulful coastal reset. It provides gorgeous views of the ocean and causeway, with a location that is quiet and peaceful. The authentic building is typical of coastal Maine and nicely renovated. The rooms are comfortable, clean, cozy, and awesome, some with ocean or causeway views. The place is run by a lovely, warm, and welcoming couple. Service is warm, friendly, and excellent. The onsite restaurant and bar, The Causeway, offers fantastic, amazing, delicious, and high-quality local food and drinks. Recommendations include the chowder, oysters, chocolate mousse, gluten-free blueberry pancakes, and handcrafted cocktails. An excellent bartender offers a great list of fine spirits. A complimentary breakfast is included with the room. The experience is nourishing, unpretentious, deeply restorative, and a perfect, memorable getaway. Guests can walk the trails, walk on the beach, and receive local trail recommendations. The inn provides a relaxing onsite massage, fireside evenings, and easy access with ample parking. It is a very nice place to stay, promising a slower, gentler rhythm.

Absolutely beautiful little B&B with breathtaking coastal scenery. Great location for exploring midcoast Maine, while still maintaining its off the beaten path charm. Fantastic onsite bar and restaurant as well. Spent 6 nights here in early June, and will definitely be back!
