My company Hager Photography was hired to photograph a wonderful wedding reception at Ketcha this past fall and it was such a lovely experience. Despite a little rain the reception was great and we got all the photos we needed. Such lovely grounds and the event space is huge and open. I had a great experience there and highly recommend them for any event.

Best summer camp I’ve seen. Great for kids of all ages, tons of useful stuff, my most liked thing I’ve seen done here is teaching kids what is and isn’t edible in nature. Lovely lake and pool too.

My 4-year daughter attended summer camp at Ketcha. The facilities are lovely, but the poor counselors had well over the 5:1 ratio of kids to deal with (a result of hiring issues across all sectors in summer 2022). My daughter, who is a quiet and introverted type, was randomly placed in a group with 9 wild boys who were ripping up sod and throwing it, etc. The counselor was doing her best to keep things under control, but the wild kids needed so much attention that my daughter was often just left sitting alone, no one engaging her. I asked about my daughter being switched to another group, but I was informed this was not possible. Each morning was crying and misery as she begged not to be left there, but as a working parent I had no choice because I couldn't find an open spot elsewhere once the summer had already begun. She was scheduled to swim once a day, but it was an entire summer of her coming home with a dry swim suit, overheated, covered in sweat, mosquito bites and dried tears. Had my daughter been placed in a different group, or if she were an extrovert who enjoyed a boisterous environment, this would have been a better fit. But in my case, I felt like I did my daughter a disservice.

Had our wedding reception here in Fall 2021. A few words to any thinking that they may do the same: think twice. The price is not bad, but they nickel and dime you on hours (additional $250 per hour) You get 8 hours to start and this included set-up and breakdown times. They set up chairs and tables, but little else. The tiny kitchen and refrigerator is not suitable for large events. They also are poor communicators, our event coordinator was replaced and we weren’t even informed (we actually didn’t even meet her during the entire event.) We had a medical emergency at the end of our event, causing us to go over our allotted time. They responded by fining us an additional $350 the day after while we were still on our honeymoon. All in all, beautiful space, but not a venue I would suggest for a wedding, as their staff obviously does not value running a events program that works for their customers that are paying thousands of dollars. They seem much more interested and invested in their children’s programs. Maybe they should stick to that.

Counselors Kyle and Anna made our son's low ropes birthday party a total success! They were so helpful, and the facilities were beautiful! Would highly recommend for any event, or for camp!

I can not say enough about the wonderful people and the wonderful grounds. All of the preschool teachers are very caring and patient. They are always energetic, no matter the weather, to get the kids out in the woods to explore nature. All modern research shows the teaching technique used by Camp Ketcha to be the most beneficial to young kids.Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Camp Ketcha has left their grounds open for kids to get some fresh air. The staff provided craft projects for anyone who wanted them, free of cost, while kids were home from school.

The counsellors in the horse program were mean and we barely got to ride, I would not recommend the horse program.

Such a lovely place and such a lovely idea but the staff are way in over their head causing the kids to suffer. The counselors are rude and grumpy and seem miserable to be there. As a result the kids do not feel secure and beg not to go every day. Disappointing because the grounds really lend themselves to a great experience for young children.

We had so much fun today petting the animals, listening to a story and walking the grounds. Thank you!

Went here as a kid, I was outright bullied by a counselor, not a great experience, I hope they've gotten better since i was young, but it left an impression on me
