I went to Moody’s yesterday to have a damaged hatch repaired. I was told that they are booked out a couple months. Rather than tell me I am SOL and don’t let the door hit me on way out Jeff and a colleague went to my car and inspect damage. They then spent the next 45 minutes working g on a challenging issue and ended up fixing the damage allowing it to close and latch. When I tried to pay them for their time they refused saying it’s their job to make folks happy and satisfied. Now I have heard that before but these guys back it up big time. I will have to pay their kindness forward!!

I was unable to get an estimate done because they’re booking a couple weeks out. They’re always excellent and I know every place is busy right now.

So I would've given Moodys a five star except for the fact that it took over two months to get my car in to have the rear bumper repaired. Honestly, I wasn't too upset about that though as the car was barely damaged and was drivable, so no big deal but thought I should mention it. I was very pleased with their timely repair once I did get it in there though. And there was great communication from them also. When I picked up my car, I was extremely pleased with not only the repairs but the condition of my car, inside and out. They gave it a good washing and a decent vacuum & detailing on the inside. I would bring my car back there again unless the damages were more serious and needed to be fixed in a more timely manner next time. (Although they may take that into account when giving you a timeframe to fix it - can't speak from experience on that). Overall, a great collision center I was pleased with.

Moody's did a great job repairing a small dent from being hit. And the got my car back to me 2 days earlier than expected. They even drove me home after I dropped it off. And picked me up to retreive the car.

I went to the shop today to get an appraisal on a small job. Jeff said he would have a look at it. He went outside, saw the damage and said he'd try to fix it right there. This was great because their schedule was booked up for a week. Jeff proceeded to repair the damage in 20 minutes and would not charge me or accept any payment. This is truly exceptional service and kindness. This co- worker owned business will see me in the future when my vehicles need body work. I cannot recommend them highly enough!Service: Body & Trim

Moody's was really easy and professional to deal with. They're busy and expect a booking date maybe a month or two later. Will post another review after repair is done. But overall satisfied.

Brought my car in to the Augusta location recently from after a collision with a deer. Moodys was helpful, explained things, just made the whole process super easy! On top of that they did a reallllllly good cleaning of the front of my car, and I truly could not be more appreciative of everything they have done!

Usually not one to post reviews, but I would recommend Moodys in Lewiston to absolutely anyone. They got me in quickly after my accident, kept updated me throughout the process, cleaned my car, and were wonderful to work with. Highly highly recommend to anyone!

After my regular Repair shop closed doors because of Covid Year. I had to find a new place to go. I of course have heard of Moodys as they are one of Maines's most known places. I have heard a lot of different stories some I liked and some I thought less of none the less I choose to give them a chance. I do need to say that this shop has a very responsive call service there was no waiting on the phone along with the fact when I placed an insurance claim in with their shop I was almost immediately called and asked to come in with the car within a day or two. I enjoy a good responsive company. Now my first experience with them went bad however it was nothing that was their fault. The second time they got my car in fixed it within a day and I was back on the road. After I got it back however I Noticed that there was still a noise grr. So that was something that upset me. I called up and they took me seriously about still hearing something and scheduled me right back in for another service visit. They corrected the issue within a day. All in all, they are kind people, The shop is in an easy enough spot to get in and out of. I can't say I am happy with all the work because they missed something however they were quick to fix it so there is that. I will say out of the many shops I have tried they are far from the worst and do seem like they care about your business and making sure you leave happy. I will say if you need a place definitely check it out and just be sure to let them know what all your concerns are they will listen.

who is collision is junk now if they offered me a free full body paint job with a free rental car while it was being done I would respond hell no!! All I can say is wow! growing up in Maine Moody's developed a reputation for being the premier body shop in the state, which I guess is before Sean Moody left... after the experience I recently had there I wouldn't get any work done there even if it were free. My truck was rear-ended while it was parked should have been a simple bumper and sensor replacement issue however they bought the paint job horrendously and it came out with a hexagonal pattern all over it!! I'm not sure if it was a poor paint job cheap aftermarket parts or the combination of the two but I refuse to accept the vehicle had them take it back and do it again into my complete and utter dismay they gave it back to me looking just as bad if not worse than the first time they tried to give it to me. I ended up having to get all the work done again from scratch at a completely different shop. Moody's has gone so far downhill they don't even care about the work they produce I didn't even so much is getting apology from anyone for the poor quality of workmanship that they provided me with in fact they tried to defend their paint job to it I asked why is it that your paint job doesn't look anything like the paint on the rest of the vehicle, For which they had no response. oh yeah and if I didn't mention it the hexagonal pattern was present in their second paint job as well in addition to the facts that they didn't even use the correct color paint clearly they took the bumper off painted it in the shop and then just slapped it back on the truck called me and said it was ready. All you had to do was look at it for about 3 seconds to realize the paint on the bumper didn't match the entire rest of the vehicle but God forbid they had anybody in that shop doing quality controls and actually making sure the vehicle was done before they called you and told you it was done. Moody's doesn't care about the work they do and they do not care about their customers at all.Services: Painting

Poor communication and workmanship. Repairs were supposed to be done by Friday. Every time they missed a deadline we had to call them to find out what was going on. After countless calls and broken promises the car wasn't ready until late Tuesday, and they did a horrible job. The door they replaced doesn't close right. The paint looks terrible. They scraped off a bunch of the tinting on my window. Overall terrible experience. It's a real shame because I held this company in high esteem until I actually had to use them.
