My Labrador needed an emergency visit today and this place got us right in for an appointment! Everyone that cared for her today was absolutely wonderful and made Del-Rae very comfortable. Highly recommend this establishment, and a extra shout out to Dr. Morrill for his expertise, advice and care & thank you Danielle for being so sweet to my Del! She is feeling much better already and cozied up on the couch resting.

I can't say enough great things about Pine Point Animal and Dr James. They helped us compassionately navigate end of life care for our 15 year old pup. The staff was always kind and patient with him and us. We have another dog who is very nervous in public settings. Everyone is patient and respectful with her. They are always available to see our dogs when we need an appointment and all of the staff is super helpful. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

I brought my late cat to Pine Point by a friend's recommendation. We were assigned to Dr. James Morrill. We knew something was going on with our cat, and went to Pine Point to get to the bottom of it. Turns out, it was diabetes. Upon the diagnosis, Dr. Morrill worked with us to find the "sweet spot" amount with his insulin. A couple months into his treatment, I started to feel frustrated as though I was not being listened to and that my concerns were just brushed under the rug. Our cat was also getting anxious and vomiting each time on our way in, so I offered to do glucose readings at home to save ourselves the drive and keep a log to report back as well. When I explained this to Dr. Morrill, he brushed it off and told me we still needed to come in. Dr. Morrill was also offering other alternative treatments for his diabetes that we were not comfortable with (these options were extremely inappropriate and unnecessary - this was also confirmed by the veterinary practice that we transferred them to.) Nonetheless, we continued to as patients of Pine Point. (At the time, I was hesitant to "start from scratch" with a new vet while we were still trying to find his ideal glucose levels.) HOWEVER. The nail in the coffin was one particular visit about 6 months in. When I arrived with my cat for a routine glucose check, I found that (as always), the waiting room was extremely noisy and out-of-control, with 3 barking dogs. This time, it was 10x worse than normal. Due to COVID, I was not allowed to wait inside with my cat. A vet tech came out and rudely asked me to bring my cat out back since they didn't have any available rooms for him. I brought him out back, and proceeded to let the tech and the other lab tech know that he had gotten sick in his carrier on our drive. I told them that I'd take his soiled blanket out of his carrier and clean it in the parking lot while I waited for him. The vet tech said that she would clean the vomit off of my cat and his carrier, and not to worry about that. I thanked her. She told me that I could come in and grab him in about 15 minutes. After I finished cleaning the blanket off outside, I waited for about 20 minutes. I felt it was weird that I hadn't heard from them at that point (we had already been for 10+ glucose checks by this time and they are usually quite fast), so I decided to go in and ask. The receptionist said she "didn't know" where my cat was. Just as she said that, I heard a howling meow. THEY LEFT MY CAT ALONE IN HIS CARRIER IN AN EXAM ROOM WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN, AND HIM (AND HIS CARRIER) WERE STILL COVERED IN VOMIT. And yes, those 3 barking dogs from the waiting room were in his face BARKING at him! He was so anxious and just howling. I was horrified and immediately grabbed his carrier to take him home. A tech then popped her head in and said "we will have his results Wednesday" and left. I didn't even say anything because I was in total disbelief and took him to the car. It didn't sit well with me, so a day later I left a voicemail with them letting them know how unimpressed I was with the situation and asking for a call back. The end of that day, I got a call back from one of the vets (it was a woman, I can't remember who it was). She told me that "she has worked with that particular vet tech for a long time and trust me, she is really nice". All she did was defend her staff member and talk down to me like I was some inexperienced pet owner. Not even addressing the issue. Again, I did not feel like I was heard and was completely frustrated and angry. I decided the next morning to set my cat up at a new vet, which was the best decision I could have made for him. I am proud to say that the way he was treated by another vet in the area was top-notch and a COMPLETE change from Pine Point. I am grateful that his end-of-life care was done in another veterinary practice where both him and I were treated well. I noticed a change in his demeanor as well just by removing him from Pine Point. Afte

I have been bringing my Chihuahua, Milo to Pine Point ever since I first brought him home in 2008. He was just a few weeks old. Recently at almost 14 years old, Milo hadn't been eating for almost a week. I called Pine Point several times during the week of November 8th but I couldn't get in! They didn't have any available time open, so I hoped for the best and made an appointment Tuesday, November 16th After an emergency visit to MVMC we learned Milo was having kidney failure. We had to say goodbye Saturday, November 13th. On Monday, November 15th, I left a message that I had to cancel our Tuesday appointment because he's gone but I asked for any recommendations on where I could donate unopened food, dog beds, etc. Nobody called back. I waited a couple of days and called yesterday, November 18th. Again, nobody answered so I left another message explaining it was disappointing nobody from their office returned my call to let me know where I could donate his unopened food, let alone someone, anyone, taking a couple of minutes to make a call to acknowledge that a patient of theirs for over a decade is gone. I finally received a heart-felt call from his primary vet on Friday, November 19th. Through the years, the staff and the doctors were welcoming and treated Milo with care and concern and always returned my call the same day, always. I am hoping this review is a learning opportunity, to perhaps train staff that it is most important to return the call the day they learn a pet has passed. This is the time when a return call is the most important call to make. Whether it is from the doctor or another staff member, acknowledging a pet has passed because they really do care. If I do decide to bring another pet into my life, I would bring them to Point Point and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you to the staff and doctors for caring for Milo and providing loving care for all these years.

Our dog Opus lived a long happy and healthy 15 years, as did our 2 cats of 18 years each, because of the care, service and love that Dr. James and the entire staff provided over the past 6 years. We are forever grateful to them and will certainly use this veterinary service again some day.

We adopted our first puppy last year and the thought of picking a vet was so stressful. Pine Point was recommended to us so we chose to have her first appointment there. Dr. Katie was who we chose and she answered all our questions and made it the best experience!! All the workers there are awesome and our little girl LOVES going to the vet!! Reasonable pricing and superb customer service will always make this our vet of choice!!

I just want to add, since I don't see it mentioned, that this office has an enormous amount of experience caring for ferrets. Not only that, but the entire staff was extremely kind and gentle throughout the visit. They were able to see us "same day", their appointments were running on time, they sent us home with all the info we needed and the bill was reasonable. One of the best vet experiences I have ever had.
